The process of my last small painting. This time a I managed to keep the canvas more of less still, and didn’t move around so much. ⠀ These days I am into the floral motives because the winter in Kyiv started almost a month ago already❄️, and I just need something summery. Our winter is almost 5 months long, and there is no big chance that I will escape it this year🛫 ⠀ Looking for inspiration, recharging, finding my inner strength to stay calm and breath💆🏼♀️🙏🏻 ⠀ #peoniespainting#paintingtimelapse#lifeofanartist#oilpainting#oiloncanvas#artblog#art#contrmporaryart#artforsale#instaart#interiorart#floralart#floralpainting#flowerpainting#dariamaiborodaart#dariamaiboroda#inspiration#paintingprocess#processpainting#artvlog

With my faceless babes💙 ⠀ Today I had to be anyone, but the artist! ⠀ 🛵 Delivery service - picked up the prints orders from the printing office; ⠀ 👩🏼💼 Sales manager - organizing my inventory, emailing customers, getting all my documents organized; ⠀ 📬 The mail courier - went to the post office and shipped all the orders; ⠀ 👩🏼💻Web designer - I have been organizing my website for the whole week, and it is still not finished! No wonder it looks like my husband is doing nothing at work😄 it takes weeks to set up a proper website or app🤦🏼♀️ ⠀ Actually, the right top painting is the first solo male figure that I have ever painted, though a lot of people don’t notice it🙈 ⠀ #artist#artistlife#artstudio#studioscenes#oilpainting#painting#contemporaryart#art#figurativeart#faceless#facelessportrait#artcommission#artforsale#nudeart#artistsoninstagram#oiloncanvas#drawinganatomyandart#artblog#lifeofanartist#gallery#artgallery#interiorart
Today I am releasing these new art prints for my paintings “Restless” and “Anxiety”! These babes are printed on a beautiful acid free, cotton based museum quality art paper. They have a smooth velvety finish, and I just can’t express how beautiful they are! You have to see it yourself! If you want one, please DM or email me💌 ⠀ I always feel like I am in a rush and I have the immediate need to share the content and paintings that I produce AT THIS VERY MOMENT! Crazy! And I am so excited about things I am working on for a long time now! ⠀ For the last week I put all my time into updating my current website. And, to be honest, I have to do everything by myself, cuz my husband doesn’t want to do it for me anymore😄 I was hoping that if you are married to an IT and program developer man, I wouldn’t have to worry🙈 but nope😄 ⠀ Well it is still to early to visit my website, but very soon I will have a proper online shop and beautiful website😍 ⠀ Happy Thursday everyone! Cuz Thursday it’s a small Friday😉
✨Wondering how am I packaging my prints before I ship them to you? See the few simple steps bellow and check up my stories (highlights) to see the video!✨ ⠀ So here are the few simple steps that I follow: ⠀ • ROLL up the print GENTLY, to make sure you don’t have the cracks on the paper. ⠀ • COVER it with the craft paper and tie up with the a string, tape, ribbon, band, etc. I personally prefer a crafty styled ribbon. ⠀ • WRAP it with a packaging plastic to make sure that the print won’t be damaged by water or any other environmental conditions. ⠀ • PLACE inside a hard cardboard tube, cover with a cap and seal that cap with a scotch tape. ⠀ And you are ready to go! Just call the courier or take it to the postal office to ship🤗 ⠀ Was it helpful or interesting? Double tap and comment bellow😉👇🏻
⠀ I LOVE how the prints came out! I was looking for the best museum quality paper, printed so many trial versions, been visiting different print shops, checking the paint and print quality... ⠀ First solo exhibition - my REAL personal experience 👇🏻 (part 2) ⠀ ⠀ ✨ Create more exhibition material. So we had the idea and concept, but I had only 7 paintings that fit it. I had the sketches, so I gave myself 2 months to create more paintings (I decided to make 10, I know, crazy🙀). But because my studio was flooded I started 3 weeks later, so I had 1 month and 2 weeks. And 2 weeks through I got pneumonia😷! It was such a HARD time. I was exhausted, sick and super stressed. But I did it. In 45 days I created 9 paintings, 1 video and 1 text art piece. DO NOT REPEAT. Give yourself more time. ⠀ ⠀ ✨ Create promotional material. If you have a lot of time and at least photoshop skills - go ahead and do it by yourself! But if you have a bigger budget and tight time frame - better go hire a designer that will design for you the lifeless, posters, price lists, social media promos, etc. me and @bilenko.dasha did all by ourselves. It wasn’t perfect🙈 After 8 hours of panting with fever I was working on it till 3-4 am every day. GIVE YOURSELF MORE TIME ⠀ ⠀ ✨ PROMOTE. This is where you will need your curators help the most! I only held my Instagram and Facebook page. But @bilenko.dasha created press releases that she sent to all of the art related medias, contacted and found sponsors for alcohol (we had Stella Artois sponsoring the drinks for the opening night, how awesome is that!), sent invitations to EVERYONE. Literally, we sent invitation to gallery owners, curators, collectors, dealer, medias, Instagram influencers, etc. Of curse most of them won’t show up, but if at least a few people will - that is already A LOT! So don’t worry, step up and send your exhibition invitation to Vogue’s chief editor! ⠀ More coming up tomorrow❤️
First solo exhibition - my REAL personal experience👇🏻 ⠀ There’s a lot of information out there if you google it, but I want to share my REAL personal experience of setting up a solo exhibition in Ukraine. I started writing this and I realized that there is so much to it😱, that I will have to break it into a couple of posts☺️ ⠀ SO… ⠀ ⠀ ✨ FInd a curator. I’ve met @bilenko.dasha ❤️ about a year ago at an exhibition that she was organizing, few months down the road we had a group exhibition together, and few months ago we have decided to do my first solo show! Believe me, working with a curator is amazing! 🤗 It’s saves you the hassle of negotiating with the gallery, finding sponsors, communicating with the dealers and collectors, preparing the printing materials, writing press releases and communicating with press 🙄🤯- a ton of work! ⠀ ⠀ ✨ Come up with an exhibition concept🙌🏻 YES, this comes after you start working with a curator, because this person will look at all the art pieces you have from a fresh point of view. Even if you want to put ALL of your works on the gallery walls, it won’t create a good “picture” in general. So look at your art, find the pieces that represent your main concept the best and start planning! This is just the beginning and all the main work is ahead, but we’ve STARTED💪🏻 ⠀ More in my next post, stay tuned!
