Nelisa has been training for about a year and has seen great progress! She is down 15 pounds from her starting weight and decreased her fat percentage. She has gained a plethora of strength, muscle, knowledge, and confidence! One great milestone she achieved was completing a 30 second plank! This is me at the top of 2018: maxing my weights and my reps every week, eating better than before, and determined to hit my goals. I have a long way to go and a lot of about my but I proud of myself for coming to the gym and busting my even when I don’t have a whole lot to show for it. 197.4 lbs. And not for long.
1 year ago I made one of the best decisions of my life & started my journey to become the healthiest me I could be with my trainer Mario Naccarato at YouFit Health Clubs. As many of my friends know, in 2001 I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma & proceeded to go through almost 2 years of intense chemotherapy. I was essentially bed ridden for the duration of that time & as a consequence I missed out on alot of activity that was essential to my physical growth, so, I've always been a little behind the rest of the crowd. 1 year ago I weighed 126lbs, could barely leg press 180lbs, & had a difficult time bench pressing 80lbs. Today. I weigh 142lbs, have a max leg press of 650lbs, a max bench of 160lbs & enjoy being able to participate in many physical activities. This was all accomplished on a vegetarian diet with fish thrown in every now and then. Mario has been not only the best trainer I could have asked for, but also azing friend. He's the man & he got me where I today. So thank you dude 😎 #youfit#fsu#fitness #
