Hour long weights work out first thing on a Sunday morning. My whole body is aching but it was awesome. 🏋🏻♀️ // #cwp #cambridgeweightplan #cwpfamily #cambridgediet #lowcaloriediet #weightloss #myweightlossjourney #cwpstep2 #step2 #diet #cwpcorby #barbellclass #exercise #fitfam #fitness #weights #barbellexercises #exerciseclass
I was fortunate enough to be both the ‘model’ and contributing writer for this @mensfitnessuk article back in March 2017. - This was my first major piece in a publication and one I’ll always remember. @jonlipseymedia @joewarneruk and I came up with 7 of the most valuable barbell exercises to get strong and how to perform them to create this amazing feature. - I love doing what I do, so it’s incredibly rewarding seeing the hard work pay off after years of learning. - Always grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and hope there are many more to come. - #mensfitnessuk #ilmedia #barbellexercises #feature #fitnesswriter #fitnessmodel #magnificent7 #workoutinspo #trainingideas #londonfitness #personaltraining
This is definitely one of my favorite barbell exercises. This one is very demanding and literally works your entire body in one way or another. . As you can see in the video, it’s upper body dominant but is a very functional movement that has amazing transferability to your gait cycle.
Is this my favourite movement? 🎯 - It’s no secret I love the Javelin Press. I like pressing. A lot. And this particular shoulder exercise builds strong, stable and healthy shoulders. - Pressing a long object like this forces you to stabilise the bar by making micro-adjustments as you move and improving control. - Rather than performing seated DB presses week after week why not challenge yourself with 6-10 reps of this each side. - It also strengthens the wrist and core whilst correcting any imbalances. Add it into your programme! You won’t regret it 💪🏼 - #shoulders #delts #overhead #pressing #strength #shoulderhealth #wriststrength #fitness #exercises #musclebuilding #power #athlete personaltraining
Be aware of “training ADD”. Training ADD will have you jumping from exercise to exercise, program to program, class to class, and mentor to mentor. • TADD is a disease of distraction. With distraction comes lack of focus and lack of stick-to-it-iveness. Two critical pieces in the success puzzle. • If you’re serious about getting results, stick with a proven system (exercises, training variables, philosophies, etc.) and work hard at making improvements on a consistent basis. • There is still plenty of room for variety within that framework. Here I’m doing RDL’s- yea, probably for the millionth time. • But I never get bored for 2 reasons: 1️⃣ I value excellence. Excellence comes from a lot of practice, consistency, and hard work. 2️⃣ I change up the variables- tempo, rep range, weight selection, order of exercises, implement used, volume, intensity, frequency, etc. • So you can chase the dopamine release of “new” or you can chase results by staying consistent with what works. Your choice.
Time to start deadlifting again. Taking it real slow. Just some doubles at 405 to get back into it. 4 wheels is significantly heavier than I remember.... - If you’re looking to become a better athlete and get bigger, stronger, and faster feel free to contact me and I’ll help you reach your goals! Even if you aren’t an athlete, and you are looking to get in better shape and become a better version of yourself, hit me up and let’s get you on the right track before the holidays!
🔥What You Didn't Know About Barbell Rows By @dancudes 🔥⠀ -⠀ Barbell rows are one of the best back exercises there is! Working the lats, traps, shoulders and biceps, they are a multijoint, compound lift that should be done frequently! They also are great for scapular strength which most of us lack! Try doing them with a 3x10 protocol if you're new to them, but build your way up to a 5x5 and get jacked!⠀ . . . . . . . #fitness #gym #workout #proteins💪💯 #proteins💪 #barbell #barbellexercises #barbellrows #barbellrow #backattack #backworkout #back #strongback #dedication #gymmotivation #liftheavy #3x10 #5x5 #5x5stronglifts #stronglifts5x5 #infographic #instafit #getjacked #alphalete #athlete #shredded #ripped
