It’s not the way most beginners do it. I mean, as a beginner you have this glorious opportunity to add muscle, lose fat, and get stronger for a good 4-8 month period before it all gets harder. - Most people never take advantage of this, resorting to strict and restrictive diets — which Id call trying way harder than you need to. Something a little more realistic can work effectively and for longer. - And on the exercise front, you choose sweat, hard boot camps and using exercise as a form of punishment, when really, learning to move correctly with steady increases to weight and/or reps is all you should be doing. - The key is to repeat the movements that matter — Push, Pull, hip hinge, squat — do them correctly and add weight and reps. - If you do that for 16 weeks, even if you don’t lose a pound, you’ll be gaining muscle and losing fat. - And you’ll start feeling stronger too. Which no one ever complains about once they get it. - The key is learn the movements correctly — I have plenty of tutorials on YouTube. And then add weight. - I really is that easy and you don’t have to sweat unless you want to. - Any questions? . . . s
