Private library of the Niavaran Complex ( Queen Farah Pahlavi library ) is located at the Niavaran Complex, Tehran, Iran a historical complex remaining from the Pahlavi periods. The library consists of about 23,000 books, mostly in Persian and French languages, and specializes in books related to philosophy. There are also Many artworks like paintings and sculptures, I just realized the Parviz Tanavoli, "Heech" ("Nothing" sculpture), I wish I could touch and read the books, but it is not possible! 📚 ish

This was hard read. And as a granddaughter of Holocaust survivors it was also heartbreaking. I still find it hard to wrap my head around how ‘deniers’ exist, but Deborah Lipstadt’s story of fighting against one of the worst is an important part of history and a needed lesson about free speech. ish

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ish
