@codingbeenz ・・・ Today’s topic: Principle 2 - Dependencies ✨ Code dependency is when a piece of software relies on another one. When you create an application, there will be packages that you will install that your app will rely on. For example, in Node.js if you want a minimal web application framework, you can use Express. This is installed as a package and will be a dependency to your project. ✨ The 12 factor app rule around dependencies are: 1️⃣All dependencies are declared. In Node.js, dependencies are installed using NPM and listed in package.json. In Python, dependencies are installed using Pip and listed in requirements.txt. This helps to simplify the setup for new developers joining the project. 2️⃣Dependencies are isolated to your project. In Node.js, dependencies are installed locally to a project. In Python, you’ll need to create a virtual environment to ensure your dependencies are not installed to your whole system. If dependencies are deployed to the whole system, you can run into the issue where two projects are dependent on the same package but different versions of it. To avoid this, isolating dependencies is important. ✨ Happy Wednesday!! I hope your week has been productive so far! 💪 ✨ #compsci

(34/100) ▶️▶️▶️ArrayList Trivia 💡💡ArrayList Implements the List class as you may already know. There are few things about this class that I would love to share with you guys. ArrayList is an important data structure which is faster and has lot of advantages like faster fetch and insert times. . . . . . . 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻Okay let me show you how. Given an array - int[] array = {2,4,6, 5,1, 2,5,6,5}, what if you want to insert an element at the center. you basically have to create a new array and insert the new element at the mid index and then copy the rest of elements. Lot of work right ? and yeah its expensive. . . . . . . 🔥 🔥Solution to the problem is List So how does it work ? Here instead of finding the index and copying the elements, the ArrayList allows inserting the values at any given index. Since you are not limited by the arrayboundaries, you dont have to create another ArrayList object. for example- 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 ArrayList list = new ArrayList(); list.add(2) Result == [2] 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 list.add(Index, val), where index is the position where you want to add new value, and val as the new suggests, the value to be inserted. list.add(0,3) Result = [0,2] . . . . . . . . . ▶️▶️▶️▶️ GitHub - https://www.github.com/biplabku @codingbiplab ▶️▶️▶️▶️ . . . . . . . . #compsci @programmerrepublic

On the app some new features are gonna allow anyone to post their own inspirational stories to share to the world and be able to comment on other people’s post anonymously or by username. It’s a nonprofit company and donates all the profits to organizations that conduct research on gun violence, such as March For Our Lives. So go show some love and get some merch. 🙏❤️ @fitlyfelv

Am I the only one who finds math awesome? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (Not that I always understand it. 😅) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I recall a scene from my highschool Science class... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~~~ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Teacher: Class, do you know what the universal language of Science is? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Student: Mathematics? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Teacher: No, English. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Me: 🤔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~~~ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am inclined to agree with the student. 😛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Math lets us explain so much about the world around us, and even the world we can't see. Whether through formulae, models, equations, or algorithms. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And to think: I used to say math was dumb and that I couldn't do it. Now I see math as elegant, and I can do it (to a limited extent 😅). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's so exciting to be living in a time when we know more than ever, and yet are aware of how much more there is to unravel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That's one of the most important lessons that my Computer Science education has taught me: understanding math is essential to knowing the world around (and beyond) us. 🌍🌘🌠 (👽?) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also that I'm capable of much more than I think. 📄💯😉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -- ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #compsci
