This bad boy was discovered in the Bowels of Jabba’s palace a long, long time ago. The gammorrean guards whispered amongst each other that it was the adolescent child of the Jabba’s pet rancor, killed in front of its mother to force her into obedience. It now rests in the possession of the fabled Armorer, Shan Holdo. #designerart

Repost @jasonburruss with @get_repost ・・・ For the love of @takashipom ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 . Fan art collab featuring a Milli made by @nathan_miers and @elboglass ✨ Commissioned by @killz4vuitton 🙏 Private Collection, NFS ⚜️ . Let’s talk about Takashi Murakami, a world renowned Japanese artist whose work is a cultural reflection of Japan merged with pop art influences and an amazing array of color, texture and contrast. 🖤 . I had heard his name spoken many times and I will admit that his art struck a childish chord in my soul when I first saw it through the Internet. And then I went to Tokyo, Japan and had an incredible experience. . I visited Takashi Murakami’s Show “The 500 Arhats” at the Mori Art Museum. It was breathtaking, epic proportions and unlike anything I could have imagined an artist could create. . The largest painting was a 100 meter long mural that paid homage to the nation of Qatar who was offered Japan assistance in the wake of the 2011 Japan Earthquake. An epic work that was humbled in intention and told a story through it’s long walk from one end to end... . The sculptures were also breathtaking, like iconic pop art imagery from a cartoon I have never seen but I seem to know (like a memory that you don’t know how it came to be). . In the middle of the experience I told my partner Lindsey that this was the most psychedelic thing I had ever experienced, yet I was completely sober in Japan where psychedelics are highly illegal. . Maybe this expression is a form of psychedelia, and maybe art is a way to cross these paradigms without the use of shamanic substances. Maybe art is shamanism. . So, as a token of my gratitude for showing me a side of art I never knew existed, I put my love into this pendant. Please follow and support this amazing human and cultural figure ~ @takashipom 🖤 . #designerart

Chickens, although generally associated with fear are NOT especially afraid. In fact they are often quite brave. Chickens, at least the free range ones I raise, are strong and willing to attack humans or predators. Some people have had roosters so aggressive in defending their territory that the had to kill the rooster. This mixed media rooster wears the sign “be brave” as a reminder of their true personalities. Mixed media rooster. Composite base natural chicken tail feathers. Vintage fabric body, felt comb and waddles, fabric wrapped wire legs. Rope and glittered wooden neck sign. Height 20 inches . . . . #designerart
