Gut talk!!! I don’t have a 6 pack. Fine.. but I do take care of my gut in the morning and even before bed. Waking up I drink a full glass of water to wake my track up. I won’t eat for at least an hour.. At several points through out the day I will also drink a glass of water before eating. Before I leave for work I’ll do a shot of probiotics, aiding with digestion and even helping with skin and immune. After that I’ll chug a glass of celery juice which is said to help detox the liver. I do this on a daily. Being healthy doesn’t mean just eating right and or going to the gym, testing parts of your body you can’t see as well.. #digestion

Laughing so hard it hurts! Can you guess what we thought this looked liked??? 🐌😂🤠 ______ Let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food is more then cravings and supplements. Start with a nutrient dense, properly prepared, whole food diet and see how things begin to change. From there, please know that you are incredibly unique and something that works "for everyone" just may not work for you. That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you!! We are all unique with different lifestyles, different background, and different genes that all play a role in how our body responds with or against how we think it should. Be open to exploring 🌱 #digestion

Have you had your celery juice today? Please be aware that organic celery juice is far better than non organic and tastes different too. You will find it more bitter. There is an old saying "Bitterness on the tongue creates sweetness in the body" Give it a go it does wonders for your digestion. #digestion

I am currently, mid IBS flare up at the moment, I have had IBS since childhood. Since going vegan last year, thankfully it does seem to have got a lot better. I was already intolerant to diary, gluten, eggs, and various other food items (diagnosed by a dietician - not self diagnosed before anyone say's anything). Symptoms vary from me looking like I am six months pregnant with such severe bloating which is so painful, feeling sick and being sick, constipation, all sorts of other delightful (and often embarrassing) things which come with this condition. 🙈😳 • I know for me if I am stressed or anxious my IBS often flare's up, so before races, exams, meeting new people. Things which I have found have helped me are; Yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️ Meditation 🙏🏼 Running / Exercise (even when I don't feel like doing it!) 🏃🏻‍♀️ Increasing your water intake 💦 Probiotics 💊 Peppermint Tea / tablets 🍵 Ginger Tea / Tablets Eat slower & chew your food well 😬 Also limiting my caffeine, alcohol, and having to much fruit can aggravate it also. 🥂☕️ • My current flare up I am putting down to stress and anxiety of buying my new flat (first time living alone!!). If you are having any IBS symptoms - before seeing your GP - start a food and mood diary. As they will not often be able to help you unless you have done this. The mood bit, is as above, often linked to stress / anxiety, so keeping a track of how you are feeling when you are eating can really help. 🤯 • Fingers crossed this flare up finishes soon...We only have 1 body, we may as well look after it. Be kind to your body...we work them hard. I hope some of this helps you if you also suffer with this delightful condition. Feel well. 🤞🏽💖 •   #Digestion

One of my favorite parts about being in the kitchen is the pleasure of making a healthier version of something that seems so decadent. Take fudge, for instance. Store-bought versions are packed with sugar and who knows what other unnecessary additives. But my Peanut butter Fudge recipe is full of good-for-you, recognizable ingredients — with its sweetness fueled by benefit-rich raw honey. (Unlike refined sugar, it’s full of antioxidants and can even help with allergies.) And what’s more, this fudge is delicious! INGREDIENTS: 1 cup coconut oil 1/3 cups peanut butter 1 cup coconut milk 1 cup raw honey 1/3 cup cocoa or raw cacao powder DIRECTIONS:In a double boiler over medium low heat, mix together the coconut oil, peanut butter, coconut milk, honey until fully melted and combined.Add the cocoa and stir until well incorporated.Spread the fudge in an 8 x 8-inch pan or molds and place in the freezer for 2 hours.Allow to thaw slightly before cutting and serving. Store any remaining fudge in the freezer. #digestion
