This is the start of week two of my new program and I am LOVING it. • I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this type of workout or if it was even going to be a good enough workout, but I am so glad I decided to go all in on it. After this workout, my face was a straight tomato 🍅 • These first two weeks of the program are called the COMMIT phase. It’s two full weeks of committing to working out for 20 minutes and working on ourselves! It feels damn good when you show up every day for yourself. Since starting, my energy levels are up, my craving for junk food have gone down, and I so pumped for the rest of these six weeks. • Committing to something is hard. But you know what else is hard?? Waking up each day and not feeling comfortable in your own skin. Not having the energy the run around with your kids. That’s hard. And you have to choose your hard. • Here’s the deal...I have a new group forming. It will be an entire month where we focus on committing to ourselves and our health. Committing to making a change. Commiting to LOVING ourselves. • Now you just have to decide. • Are you ready to make a commitment to yourself? What hard are you going to choose? I have 5 spots available for my next group. Do it for them. Do it for you. • A lot of people say that getting healthy and fit should be for you and you alone. I agree and disagree. You cannot and will not be successful, if it’s not something that YOU want. However, I think that when you do it for your children, that in turn, is also for you. • As moms, we’ll do ANYTHING for our children, often putting ourselves last. But your children watch your every move. Every time you eat crappy food, wince when you look in the mirror, call yourself fat, complain that you have no energy, etc. They see and feel ALL of these things. Kids do what they see. • Ask yourself this… Do you want your children to have the same self-hate and bad habits that you do? NO WAY. You don’t like feeling this way, so why would you want your children to feel this way? • If you can’t get to a place where you make time for you, then tell yourself that you are doing it for them. Because they deserve a mom who feels good, has energy, and has CONFIDENCE. At the end of the day, you are a better wife and mom and they have an inspiring role model to look up to. • So today choose to do it for them and maybe some day you’ll see that all along you were doing it for you :) • If you’re ready to show your kids what strength, confidence, and dedication looks like then drop a fun emoji below or shoot me a dm. • #doitforyou

I absolutely love this. When I was a teenager, I used to think that 41 was really old! Now, I am doing 65kg deadlifts, after doing kettlebells for an hour. Trust me, if I, who battles with low self esteem, who battled PND with both of my boys, chunky, and probably the oldest woman in that “bro & gal gym” can do it, you can too! My kettlebells class is full of women who are all shapes and sizes and of all ages. The young fit ones tend to go to the front and us “oldies” always stand in the back row, but we sweat & huff & puff; we get rid of all the day’s stresses. I love this sign because it’s so true. My husband was one of those insane people who run every day for hours on end, then in 2013 he had a freak running accident where he snapped his foot off (it got reattached again); he can never run again. Even if he tried, he can’t, it hurts him too much. But he can swim & do callisthenics. Ladies, the “I can’t”, the “I’m too old for this”, the “The gym is full of young and fit people; I don’t belong there”, is all bollocks. It’s all in our heads. We need to be healthy now, so that we can have a longer, more comfortable lives later. We need to be around for our children for a long time. Get a good sports bra, buy some trainers & some tops and leggings (Lidl & Aldi do great sports clothing, so it doesn’t have to cost a lot) and just put one foot in front of the other. Do it for you. * * * #doitforyou
