@comed External Affairs Manager Lisa Aprati attended the February 19 Village Board Meeting to congratulate Orland Park on its conversion to LED street lights. Pictured are (l to r) Director of Public Works John Ingram, ComEd’s Lisa Aprati, Mayor Keith Pekau and Trustee Kathy Fenton, Public Works Committee chair. LED lights are more durable than the high pressure sodium vapor street lights and depreciate at a slower rate. LEDs do not contain toxic chemicals and they reduce overall maintenance costs. Orland Park received $270,990 in incentives from ComEd. #EnergySaving
