We suspend our coordinating but not matching rule when we get good hand-me-down clothes. These fleece jackets came last year and both guys love them, so they are twinning when they head off on our adventures into the woods. Today we headed off on a pine cone hunt for a friend who needs them for a work project. He wanted 200. We maybe got 25. #sponsored * Pine cone huntin' is hard work and we had to make sure we had a handy snack. I didn't want to pack (or haul) my usual array of snacks so these Little Nut Peanut Apple Cinnamon snacks were perfect for little guys to put in their pockets. And When you purchase delicious Little Nut, 100% of the proceeds support Edesia's mission to end malnutrition worldwide. Food with a mission is near and dear to my heart. * Here's the best part, for real. One of my twins has some eating and gagging problems - if you're a long time Fort Birthday friend, you know all about it. We know that keeping peanuts as part of his diet until he is kindergarten age may help prevent peanut allergy. But peanut butter on a spoon, or a PBJ sandwich can be hard for him to eat and swallow. These pouches allow me to cut a small opening that he can control for safe and happy eating. Which is such a relief for me. * Shop Little Nut via the link in my bio and use code FALL4LN25 for $5 off their 16-count pack! * * * #hbtsp #hbtlittlenutapple #littlenutworld #healthykids #edesia #mommyblogger #fortbirthday #momoftwins #oldmom #fraternaltwins #twintoddlers #toddlerboys #twinstagram # #twinmom #sonya6000 #woodlandlife #gooutsideandplay #hbtlittlenutstory #twin #toddlerfood #peanutbutter #preventingpeanutallergy #beprepared #ezsnacks #momkit #offonanadventure #exploringoutdoors #shoreboys #easternshorelife @littlenutworld @iggy.bowie.baltazar
Can I just snap up all the pictures?⠀ No.⠀ Because some moments are meant to be lived in. ❤️⠀ ⠀ Just after this pic (and a million more before it) I put my phone in my pocket and we walked along the water looking at the leaves, sticks, and the sun still peeking over the skyline.⠀ ⠀ I held his hand instead of my phone. I wondered how much longer I’d be holding his hand - one rule a mommy learns is that time flies too quickly in terms of little ones growing. Then just like that he whipped his hand from mine to chase down another stick up ahead. ⠀ ⠀ Parents, I get it. We want to take aaalllll the pictures. When looking back on our little humans’ lives though, we don’t want our memories to only be found through a lens. We need to create our own. ⠀ ⠀ Here’s to more moments experienced and lived, while still capturing those snapshots of childhood. ❤️⠀ ⠀ Tag a mom who has really cute kiddos!
Heading out to hole in the rock in southern Utah.
