Gaëtane Thiney débute sa carrière à l’ASS Brienne-le-Château, une commune située à seulement quelques kilomètres de sa ville natale. Elle passe par plusieurs club d'élite puis intégrera effectifs offensifs du FCF Juvisy Essonne. En 2017, le FCFJE fusionnera avec d'autres clubs pour devenir le FC Paris, dans lequel elle évolue depuis. En 2014, elle est élue meilleure joueuse de première Division & meilleure buteuse de D1 avec 25 buts ! Lors de sa première sélection en équipe de France A, elle fait vibrer filets de la Chine avec un sublime but. Sa ténacité, sa volonté de victoire et son expérience des matchs diffici en font un atout majeur pour l'équipe de France. Avec 58 buts en équipe de France, elle est prête pour la coupe du monde 2019 ! Allez bleues !
