Adherence and sustainability - do what you enjoy - the benefits of any discipline come from being able to stick to it and doing it consistently . . . Training should be enjoyed, not seen as some form of punishment that you have to drag yourself to. Also fitness should not be measured by the level of pain that you have put your body through. If you genuinely don’t enjoy any fitness based training at all then there’s other things you can do - hit your 10,000 steps a day, go for outdoor hikes, do activities - rock climbing , hiking , playing sports - simply be active and manage your calories . . My passions are yoga and weight training . I don’t ever try to annihilate my muscles during training but rather stimulate and I don’t do any cardio in the gym - instead I do activities I enjoy - hiking , swimming, playing sports , going for walks, tearing up the dance floor to the amusement of @experienceyogawithlyn 😊. . . Life is short, you don’t need to be punishing your body - have a long term view of your fitness goals and do something you enjoy - you will stick to it longer and enjoy it. . . . . ger
