@twistyfoodie with @get_repost ・・・ We came across @dinositalianrestaurant in Westminster through IG. It’s a very unassuming little place in a strip mall that many might just walk by. Today, we tried it for lunch. They had a buffet, but we wanted to try what we wanted, so we bypassed it. We started with the garlic cheese bread, which was cheesy and crispy. I knew I had to go really lightly with it, so I had a piece and a half and stopped. Now, I prefer thin crust pizza these days because bread is so filling, and I knew going in, Dino’s offers a Sicilian style thick crust pizza, but that did not stop me...why would it! I ordered a medium pizza with sausage, jalapeños, onion and mushrooms. The ingredients were fresh and there was plenty of sausage covering the pizza. Yes, I could have had more jalapeños, but I know I’m not the norm. The other dish ordered was the calzone with pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella, black olives and mushrooms. OMG...it was absolutely huge! It was bigger than the plate it was served on. I was told it was really, really good. Half was eaten, and half went home. We left with half of the garlic cheese bread, half of the calzone and 3/4 of the pizza. Our server was a very nice young man, who did a good job. When we left, we came home and literally went to bed! We conked out for a couple of hours, so thanks Dino’s for filling our guts and sending us into food comas! Good food! 🍕 🍕 #goodfoods 😋 😍 🍕

I was craving for a sandwich and I don’t usually go for a cold sandwich on a chilly day 🥶. So glad @beachhutdeliatx has hot and cold sandwiches. This is their Santa Cruz sandwich: pastrami, cream cheese, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, greek peppers, mustard, mayo. You can order this hot and add provolone. It was one toasty, cheesy and creamy sandwich. Beach Hut Deli is from the West Coast and Austin finally has its first location. On the plus side, they have great on tap!

Coliflor asada al curry, salmón a la plancha y salsa verde . LA receta de la coliflor es una adaptación de @minimalistbaker . Precalentar el horno a 204 grados centígrados. Colocar en la base un bol apto para horno con agua para mantener la humedad necesaria . Mezclar 2 cdas de agua, 2 cdas de aceite de coco (líquido, si no lo está, calentar en el micro unos segundos), 2 cdas de curry en polvo, 2 cdas de miel y 1/2 cdta de sal. Lavar la coliflor y con el tallo arriba verter la mezcla por los tallos y sacudirla para que quede todo el interior impregnado. Girarla, tallo abajo y untar toda la superficie con lo que quede de la mezcla para que quede bien cubierta. Espolvorear curry en polvo y sal. Asar en el horno 40 mins. Increíble 😱😋😋 . La salsa verde lleva 2 puñados de espinacas, 1/2 aguacate y 1 yogur griego ➖➖➖➖➖ Roasted curried cauliflower, grilled salmon and green sauce . I used an adaptation of THE recipe by @minimalistbaker . Preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Place a bowl - bake-proof - with water, on the base to maintain the necessary humidity . Mix 2 tablespoons of water, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil (liquid, if needed, heat in the microwave a few seconds), 2 tablespoons of curry powder, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1/2 tsp of salt. Wash the cauliflower and with the stem up pour the mixture over the stems and shake it so that the entire interior is coated. Turn it, stem down and cover the entire surface with what is left from the mixture so that it is well spread. Add a sprinkle of curry powder and salt on top. Roast in the oven for 40 mins. Amazing 😱😋😋 . The sauce is made with 2 handfuls of spinach, 1/2 avocado and 1 Greek yogurt . . . . . #goodfoods
