What do we mean when we say someone has potential? I think for the most part, we believe that that person has a higher chance of succeeding in a specific endeavour, due to innate abilities such as raw talent or genetics. What if we were to define potential as “the capacity to develop skills with effort and coaching over time”? Would that change your perception of what potential really is, and how many of us have it? Mindset controls everything. It is the source of our self-imposed barriers, it is the wall between you and your most ambitious goals. It’s so easy to look at successful people (whatever that may mean to you) and jump to conclusions as to how they got to the top. Granted, it’s worth mentioning we don’t all have the same opportunities, but the main ingredient to any worthwhile achievement remains the same: effort (along with continuous learning), over time, yields results. This week, take the time to evaluate whether you’re really giving it your all in your endeavours, or if you’re selling yourself short due to fear of failure, a lack of self-confidence, or both. Believing you can, as cliche as it sounds, is more than just half the battle. In most cases, it can mean the difference between going all in and giving up when the going gets tough. I have learnt so much the last couple of days but through it all I’ve learnt ‘be kind’ I am kind! I am kind and so when my little pudding is so poorly I have not been left alone to struggle. I have been overwhelmed with offers to help. I have been well looked after and because I am kind. Each kind offer of help has touched me. The programme from @lil_kimble_ is challenging me on a daily basis! Last nights arm session was focused on my form & getting the right muscles to be activating & slowly but surely lifting heavier! Havent felt stronger actually 💪! Tuesday is HIIT day! So 3km run/walk warm up & 20 min HIIT session to follow 🔥🎉💪 nothing like an excercise induced high to end of a tuesday. 😬 #gymlife
