Feeling a bit anxious? _____________________ Have you... • Had 1 too many coffees? • Had a good night sleep? • Stopped and taken some deep breaths? • Had a bit too much sugar? • Checked in with your thoughts? • Repeated some mantras and positive affirmations? • Had enough water today? _____________________ Sometimes the small things can make all the difference in the world ✨ I often get anxious for seemingly no reason, but then I run through this list and realise that at least one of them applies. Often there’s another emotion attached to it, but not having had enough sleep or having had too much sugar then spikes those emotions and BOOM I feel really anxious. WHY "FEEL YOUR FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY" MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU & WHY THAT'S TOTALLY FINE 💚⠀ . ⠀ I’m a highly sensitive person and I’ve struggled with different kinds of fears and anxiety over the years. I’ve tried lots of different approaches and this was one of them.⠀ . ⠀ “Feel your fear and do it anyway” sounds reasonable, doesn’t it? After all you’re not pretending like it doesn’t exist. And we all know that fear is only an illusion, so with all that awareness it should be pretty easy to move through it, right?⠀ . ⠀ Well, in my experience feeling fear can be quite a challenge. Concentrating on it and how your body responds to it, can often increase the level of anxiety that you are feeling and suck you into a never ending, black hole. ⠀ . ⠀ Especially when you’ve experienced trauma and/or abuse in your childhood, the “feel your fear and do it anyway” approach might even be counterproductive. ⠀ . ⠀ Your nervous system is taking over, shooting out stress hormones and preparing your body for fight or flight. Usually you will feel all kinds of symptoms like sweaty hands, short breath, tension… And then it gets really hard to dissolve the fear, because it feels very real. ⠀ . ⠀ And if you’re a spiritual perfectionist like me, you will feel as if there’s something wrong with you and you're not working hard enough on yourself and your fears - which totally is not the case.⠀ . ⠀ So what is going on then? ⠀ . ⠀ This might feel counter-intuitive at first, but bear with me: what if the purpose of these fears is to teach you how to take good care of yourself no matter what is going on around you? ⠀ . ⠀ If you feel fear (and you’re not in a dangerous or life threatening situation), it means that a part of you is scared and that part is asking for your loving attention.⠀ . ⠀ When you have experienced trauma in your childhood, there are many parts of you that have been hurt and don’t know who to trust anymore. They won’t move forward as long as they don’t feel heard, understood and safe. (continued in comments)

Mini hashbrowns 1.5 g net carbs per serving! Ingredients: 2 bags of savory herb riced cauliflower 3 eggs 1/4 cup shredded cheddar Onion powder to taste Directions: Cook cauliflower according to package instructions. In a bowl, mix cauliflower, eggs, cheddar cheese, and onion powder until well mixed. Divide evenly in a greased muffin tin(I used a square brownie tin). It should make about 12 squares or muffins. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min. Serve with your favorite low carb ketchup! Calories: 60 Fat: 4g Protein: 2.6g Net carbs: 1.5g keto #healanxiety

You guys, I think I finally found the one....stop the freaking presses I FINALLY found the perfect keto brownie recipe. Ya’ll I have literally made 7 different keto versions and THIS ONE IS THE BEST. Super fudgy, tastes exactly like real thing full of flour and sugar. I’ll link the recipe below. Note: I used half of the almond flour it called for and it was PERFECT. #healanxiety
