Fruit of the Spirit expressed in daily life looks like joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. #életforrásgyülekezet . . . . . #love#gospel#imitatorofgod#biggod#goodgod#god#trustgod#heisourstrength#heprovides#heheals#herescues#heredeems #herestores #heguides#hesaves#godspromises#heneverfails#faithfulgod#heislove#truthwillsetyoufree#allthingsnew
I believe in God, do you? What’s your beliefs? I’m always curious to learn about different cultures and religious beliefs because I grew up in a very diverse area. It was interesting because we always had a day off to observe something but I never really knew the faith behind each holiday. So some days off were just days I was excited to not go to school and play outside instead with friends. Now that I’m older I enjoy getting to know more about what they are representing and meeting people who celebrate the reasons behind each of those days. • • #holidays#religion#beliefs#culture#daysoff#faith#ibelieveinGod#christian#gotfaith #herestores #godislove#wonthedoit#religious#thejmaria
I know too many people who I fear will never know what beauty God can create out of tragedy or suffering simply because they’re not giving him a chance to. I used to be one of them. What’s holding you back from believing?
The mission of Saint Patrick... He wasn’t even Irish. He went from being a slave to a new creation in Christ, who shared the GOSPEL all across Ireland. https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/the-mission-of-saint-patrick My pastor spoke with passion from the book of Mark tonight. Through scripture and worship, the Holy Spirit moved in me... and God allowed me to see what He’s been doing in my life these past two years and three months with moving me out of state twice. • As we read in Mark 3, Jesus hand picked and called 12 ordinary men (like you and I) to be His Apostles. He called them to follow Him and then sent them out to preach the good news of Jesus, just like Saint Patrick did years later... to meet people where they are in life and share the GOSPEL to them. Build relationships. • We are reminded in the Bible, this is still our mission for today as Christians. My thoughts are... 👉🏼 how bold are you willing to be for Christ? 👉🏼 are you stuck in your Christian bubble at church? 👉🏼 are you comfortable with just seeing the same people at church every week? 👉🏼 just checking off that Sunday service box ✅? 👉🏼 being legalistic? 👉🏼 worried about what’s going on at other churches? 👉🏼 not dealing with your own sin, and being a hypocrite? 👉🏼 focused too much on theology and knowledge, where you’re heart is missing the point of Gospel centered community and what God is asking you to do? OR... 👉🏼 are you willing to step out in your faith, as Christ calls us to, and share the good news of Jesus with those outside of the church? 👉🏼 are you being intentional? 👉🏼 are you willing to take time to seek out and build relationships with the lost, then invite them into the church so they can be discipled? • God is being gracious right now with giving our world more time to accept Christ before He returns. Make His mission, your mission! Something to really think about. -trw 💙 #gospel#truth#bible#Christsaves#newcreation#Jesuslovesyou #HeRestores #transformation#HolySpirit#fruitsofthespirit#Godmoves#goodnews#thecross#missions#prayoilrise#honesttoraw#oregon
