FEEL YOUR WHOLE BODY - In kung fu we want to always be feeling our whole body. - This allows you to utilise the body mass and energy for attacking and defending movements. - It’s common for a beginner (children and adults) to bring all their awareness to the arm or leg which they are practicing their technique with. - The problem with this is that you are only using a part of your body. - Whereas it’s always more useful to utilise the whole body mass. - From another perspective feeling the body constantly develops presence and awareness, as the body is always in the here and now.. - What do you reckon? Any thoughts on this?
