Dumbbell pullover- challenging enough on a stable bench, but add the ball to it and there is bound to be some moves I didn’t anticipate. Haha, keep training and pushing. #learningnewthings

Meditation has peaked my curiosity for several years. This week I attended my first meditation gathering. My nerves were high as I entered the quiet room. There were chairs placed in a circular design and all eyes looked my way. I was greeted by a soft spoken woman named Joyce. I introduced myself to her and gave her a tidbit of information. I allowed her to know, I didn’t do any prior research and I had very little knowledge on meditation. It was my first class. She kindly explained how it works and I took a seat. I had worries about sitting still and being in silence for an extended period of time. Would I get bored? Would I fall asleep? Would I be able to relax? Would I like this? I was already there so, all I could do was wait to see. Quotes and pondering questions were shared among the group. We were allowed to answer any questions we felt drawn to. I decided to just listen. To take it all in. The guided meditation began which led to silent unguided meditation. Ten o’clock became eleven o’clock and it was completed. All of my worries were only worries. I enjoyed the meditation more than I could have imagined. There was a comfort to being with others all in silence. A feeling that I had never really felt before. So, will I be going again? Yes, yes I will. 😊 I will be going as often as my life will allow me. ✨ Have you tried meditation? 🧘‍♀️ If so, what was your experience like? How often do you do it? Do you have any tips or books you could recommend? 💕
