Shoulder workout today with this one. My workout last night sucked but between him and my mom they checked me and I was in a MUCH better headspace tonight! Things just have a way of screwing with you but you have the power to not let them. I told myself last night, "yeah my workout sucked and it wasn't a great way to end my night but I won't let that get any farther than last night." And honestly it didn't get any farther than that. Deal with the messed up thoughts and then move on. #LifestyleChange

Reading week break = quick trip to Banff! Just relaxing in Starbucks drinking a coconut milk caffe Misto with sf vanilla (70 cals)! Also had some sugar free chocolate, so it’s been a lovely day. . . . So last night I went to workout, and for the first time since starting university I felt completely burnt out. Like I couldn’t make it through a 20 minute HIIT because my body just didn’t want to do it. I’m thinking of taking these 2 days I’m here off and just walking and relaxing. Life’s been so busy lately, maybe I just need to give myself a break. There’s my little update, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Monday!

MOTIVATION MONDAY I just had to share about this amazing girls journey to health ! Congratulations Marissa Hamila!! What a beautiful testimony !! Her words: • “You’ll never leave where you are until you decide where you’d rather be.” • • 4 years ago vs. now. Keeping little reminders, like a now GIANT sweatshirt, might not seem like a huge deal. When I bought this years ago I remember thinking I should have gotten a bigger size (that was the biggest.) Now I can fit 2 of me in it. It started out as a comfy sweatshirt, now every time I put it on it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come. • This was one of the laziest points of my life. Clearly I’m on the couch like I usually was. The gym wasn’t my friend, food was. I would binge and eat out of boredom, then I would feel so bad I would make myself throw it up. I had no motivation to change either. I wanted to change but I wanted to see results instantly. • I quickly learned “A little progress each day adds up to big results.” • Once you start seeing results though, it becomes ADDICTING. Finding the right balance between exercise and clean eating is KEY. Play around with what works for YOU. • The strength that I have now both mentality and physically is unreal. The amount of times I use to say “I can’t” in a day wasn’t something I was proud of. Now instead of saying “I can’t” I find myself saying “How can I?” > How can I get stronger? > How can I take care of my body more? > How can I be a better person? > How can I give back this knowledge I’ve learned along the way? • If this journey has taught me anything, it’s that self-care is the most important thing in life. We only get one body, mind, and soul, why wouldn’t we want to take care of those?” I’d love to share more with you if you’re ready to take the jump into feeling amazing !!! &wellness #lifestylechange loseweight#
