Another week on...and here it is again, Berries contain antioxidants, which help keep free radicals under control. .cacao powder giving me antioxidants, banana potassium and good levels of protein and dietary fiber. kiwi high source of vit C. Oats are among the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. unsweetened almond milk, free of cholesterol and saturated fat, alpro vanilla A source of calcium, just like yogurt. Contains vitamins B2, B12 and D. Nut butter, which i added after the photo, provides fat-soluble vitamins and folate, both of which are important for health. Not bad for a bowl of porridge. Chicken curry from the crockpot this evening. You could use any protein for this recipe, chickpeas, lentils, beef, whatever you like! I used 3 free range chicken fillets and this serves 4. We’ll have this tomorrow too. I made a paste using garlic, ginger, half a carton of pasatta and a mix of spices. There’s no need to add any water when using a crock pot, there’ll be enough condensation! As you can see from the raw & cooked pics. It was delicious! You could also add yogurt, cream or coconut milk to make it creamier if you fancy. #micronutrients

This kids leave the house prepped too! - Every day for Ellie-Mae (almost 2) and most days for Parker (almost 6), I pack a lunch in our @bentgo lunch boxes. - The girls have different preferences, so they are definitely not always the same. Parker had smoked turkey from @luckysmarket, mandarin oranges and @madegoodfoods chocolate banana granola minis. Ellie-Mae has crockpot chicken noodle soup, mandarin oranges and oyster crackers (she loves them). - I don’t sweat the veggies at lunch but definitely keep the added sugar low (If present at all). And I’ll just say Ellie-Mae eats way more than her big sis!
