Just over packing the essentials to head off to the Southern Hemisphere @QuestNutrition Airport food is the worst, itโ€™s expensive and usually unhealthy, so Iโ€™m planning ahead and bringing three whole food meals and just a few Quest Bars :) to get me through about 18 hours worth of travel, itโ€™s a great option to get some quality protein, little bit of fat, and hardly any sugar! Like they say if you fail to plan you plan to fail. I know, I know Iโ€™m going on vacation why bother being healthy, but itโ€™s important to me and quite honestly it makes me feel good! . . . . . #nutrition

๐ŸคซSo sugar... Is it really the issue to fat gain? It definitely plays a role in fat gain when over consuming in it. - What I see a lot is people getting into the fear of sugar. They start cutting out all sugar... even from fruits. - Lets get thing straight... there has never been an individual that became obese and unhealthy by eating too much fruit. The issue is all the other crap that is being stuffed down. - When it comes to sugar from fruits, most of the time fruits contain fiber that helps counter balance the sugar. - So sugar is not your enemy. If you are eating a healthy diet within your caloric range... having some sugar is not going to automatically turn you fat. - However, if you do have some type of diabetes issue.. then yes you should be concern about the sugar you are consuming. - Overall rule of thumb is to minimize process sugar, but you don't have to eliminate all sugar from your diet. - Carbohydrate from anything such as rice or pasta is essentially sugar when it is fully digest in your body. So unless you're going keto... there isn't a method to completely cut out sugar. - ๐Ÿ™Hope this helps! Enjoy some sugar... Just be aware of how much you're consuming...
