🙋‍♀️ Raise your hand if you're looking for the next popular diet. 🙋‍♀️ . What most people fail to understand is that when it comes to weight loss, it's not as simple as following a diet plan. . Have you ever had the best intentions to follow a diet program but then you had a stressful day, something came up over the weekend, you went on vacation, or what not, and you end up falling back on old habits? That's because weight loss isn't only about being told to eat XYZ and then doing so. . Think about it. You've spent X amount of years (your entire life) the way you are - i.e. practicing your own personal relationship with food - you can't expect it to be (all of a sudden) different because you chose a diet program to follow. . Instead of focusing on what meal plan you're going to follow next, try working on changing the behaviors you spent your entire life perfecting. Behavior change is the name of the game for lasting results. . Do you tend to lean on food when the going gets tough? Make a list of things you enjoy doing that help you relieve stress. When you notice yourself going back to food, turn to your list and do something on the list (not food related) instead of eating . Do you correlate food with celebration? Make a list of things you enjoy doing that help you feel special. Next time something goes good in your life, pick something off the list (not food related) to treat yourself to. . Do you let life get in your way and put your health on the back burner, but you really want to make progress? Focus on one nutrition goal each week you can incorporate into your routine (i.e. drink a glass of water upon waking; have a healthy breakfast every day; plan a weekly dinner menu; prep and bring lunch to work every day; etc.). . Who doesn’t love a good dip, am I right? . As most parents know, dips are a great way to entice your kids to eat their veggies! . While store bought dips are fine and can be convenient in a pinch, sometimes the ingredient lists are long and filled with ingredients that I can’t even pronounce! . Why not whip up this homemade Greek yogurt dip with ingredients that you likely already have on hand? The Greek yogurt makes it high in protein, so it will keep you fuller longer. . This dip is so easy and so tasty! It literally took me one minute to make. . Just combine the following: ⭐️ 1/2 cup Greek yogurt ⭐️ 1/4 tsp onion powder ⭐️ 1/4 tsp garlic powder ⭐️ 1/4 tsp dried dill ⭐️ pinch of salt & pepper . You can adjust the amount of seasonings to taste. Serve with your favorite veggies 🥦🥕🥒🌶

If you weigh more, you can shorten the duration. If you are lighter, add a few minutes.⁣ ⁣ 1. Take the stairs. Stair climbing for 15 minutes will burn 137 calories. Have a 15-minute break at work? Find a staircase and set your phone alarm to alert you when 15 minutes have passed.⁣ ⁣ 2. Run a 5-minute mile. By the time you are 4 and ½ minutes in, you will have already burned 100 calories.
