I DON'T LIKE TO WEIGH MYSELF . Double tap and follow @petersoonfit for refreshing original fitness content that debunks the myths. . Weigh yourself, don’t weigh yourself. I don’t care. . But if you’re the type of person who hates the scales and you resort to calling it a "sad step” then don’t go weighing yourself randomly or sporadically and then letting the results get you down. . If you hate the scales so much then stay away from it. Period! . It won’t offer you any value or insight whatsoever if you weigh yourself on a whim. . It will only eat your motivation, patience and persistence away. . The scales are a tool and the tool is only as good as it’s user, so, if you’re going to half-arse it, then I urge you to not bother at all. . If you are going to weigh yourself then do it daily first thing in the morning. Track it and look at the weekly, bi-weekly and long-term trend. . Looking at random days is absolutely pointless. Don't be like me and think you don't need to take a breather. I've seen worse so this isn't too bad. This was worth the endorphins and adrenaline high I get after a good workout! Ok sorry about the 2 ab photos in a row, I'm usually not one to bombard people with too many ab shots but I had to capture this moment. I'm shocked that I still have some abs showing bc I went to a dinner party last night, ate all the food, did not restrict whatsoever, ate things I deemed off limits and not clean in the past, drank beer and a shit ton of carbs. I'm ok with looking bloated after nights like this, I almost expect it but I feel pretty damn good. Well except for this wicked hangover 🤣🤯 Just do you and keep on going bc results will come. One meal will not set you back. Consistency is key. Something to remember with Thanksgiving around the corner 🍗 #petitefitness

MENSTRUATION - USING WEIGHT TO MEASURE PROGRESS . In part-1 you learned that depending on which week it is in your menstrual cycle, your body either retains more or less water. . I'm going to show you how to use this information to track your weight in a manner that will give you objective comparisons in weight. . However, here's the challenge. It will test your patience and belief to the MAX! You will feel uncertain at times, depressed even, and want to give up. If this sounds like you ditch the scales completely, that’s my advice. . But if you're able to remain objective and remain sane even when your weight suddenly rebounds then carry on reading. . The solution is simple but NOT easy. It will take you at least 2 months tracking to get meaningful data. See what I mean😏. . You don't have to weigh yourself every day. What you must do is weigh yourself on the first day of menses (A1),then again every 7 days (A2-A3) until you reach your next period (A4). Note that from A3-A4 the time frame could be 7 days, less or more than 7 days. Who knows what it'll be, you're all special ❄️ snowflakes ❄️after all😁. But it doesn't matter just remember to weigh yourself again on that day. . After you’ve been doing this for 4 weeks you’ll get your first comparison. Comparing A1 to B1. Obviously, B1 should be lower than A1 to indicate progress. But I have to stress that this isn’t fool proof due to other factors that may influence water retention and that’s why I say that you need to wait at least 2 months before you have really objective data. . Happy HIIT cardio & abs ✔️ I did one from . I like doing hers because I honestly hate doing it on the treadmill. It's easy to forget that HIIT is a part of the BBG program because it's not written into the weekly schedule. But in the info guide in the beginning of the PDF, Kayla recommends 1-2 per week. I forget sometimes too but I fit it in when I remember. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. How often do you do HIIT? #petitefitness
