W1D5 Safety’s, a touch of bench and squat accessories. 1️⃣Safety Bar Squats: Did these in heels again, more emphasis on quads, greater rom, more stable (due to loss of ankle mobility to injuries). Last set of the 3x10 @ 100kgs. 2️⃣Incline Bench: Since I’m maintaining my bench frequency, I do a non-taxing bench movement in tonight’s session, and that was incline tonight. Not very strong in this plane, last set of 2x6 @ 60kg. 3️⃣Belt Squat: This movement has been very popular as of late, mainly in the “PitShark” variant, a good movement to take stress off the lower back and mimic the plane of a low bar squat. Hopefully this will improve my body mechanics and translate to a nice PR next year 🤭🤭 Cheers to @saraahkamel for recording 2day during her own death by micro-loaded lunges 😂 - - - - #powerlift

Today's bench: 10x3 at 115kg. Really felt it in my shoulders today need to do more mobility work and release work after sessions. What I like about these comparison videos is fact I can see my set up is the same every set. So technique is staying consistent. I'd say today was first grinder session. I've always been weak at front squats. Last year I could only do 100kg 5 X 3. Now upgraded a wee bit to 105kg 5 X 5. I'm not in a rush. And yes, my wrist mobility sucks so I gotta use straps. #powerlift

Coppa Italia Powerlifting 2k18 🏆 Squat 180 kg super facili, 192, 5kg sentiti bene e 200kg fattibili ma purtroppo mancati. Panca 95,100,105kg onesti Stacco 170kg ,190kg facili, 210kg mancati; peccato perché in stacco potevo dare molto di più ma ero cotto 😅...   #powerlift
