Making sauerkraut, the old-fashioned way (i.e., fermenting vegetables in a salt-based brine instead of pickling them in vinegar et al), except this version has one very unusual addition that most definitely breaks with tradition—turnip. Yes, we have to do something different and unexpected, because oh yeah, baby, that’s just how we roll.🤣 That being said, the turnip will go rather nicely with the other ingredients once the fermentation process completely transforms these vegetables as all their flavors come together into something completely next-level. Old-fashioned fermented vegetables are really amazing for your gut health, and oh yeah, they taste pretty freakin’ amazing too.😁 #sauerkraut
