Happy Mother’s Day to Planet Earth too! There are so many ways that you can show your ❤️ to the planet. Here are just some: 1. Avoid using any plastic (straws, bottles, containers, etc...) 🚫 2. At the supermarket, make sure to use reusable bags and look for sustainably packaged food items 🛍♻️ 3. Turn off the lights and take out wall adapters when not in use 🔌💡 4. Switch to the Ecosia search engine (for every 45 searches, a tree is planted!) 🌎🌳 5. Eat sustainably 🌱 6. Walk when you can 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ 7. Raise awareness! 🗣 #schoolstrike4climate

We live in a beautiful planet. Our beautiful Planet, the Earth. We've called it in a such simple way, with such a simple name. It's very strange, maybe funny. Because our world can't be described neither with all the words that the humanity created. Home is the word that has the closest meaning to what our beautiful planet is. Home. Beacause our planet hosted us. It's our mum or dad, as you want. But it's even our brother or sister, that lives with us and that alway stays with us. But we always have to remember that we are not the only ones who live here and that, the other forms of life and the Earth, must be respected by us. If we don't do it, unfortunately, nobody will never stop us. We have to stop ourself. We must search our own hearts. What's going on in the world is unacceptable. The adults will understand that we aren't kids anymore, but we are the next owners of this house. And if they won't understand it or if they will pretend it, we'll make them understand, NOT by violence, just by pacific manifestations. We know our rights. We love our planet. We must raise up our heads. What will YOU do? Have a nice day, I'd love to know what you think with a comment! . 4climate

Last year, a visualization by Ed Hawkins that turned data on our planet’s temperature into a gradient of colorful stripes made a splash by showing how severely the world has warmed to-date. Now, a new visualization by Alexander Radtke takes the concept further by showing what the future holds depending on when and how fast humanity cuts its greenhouse gas emissions - and the choice is pretty stark. 4climate
