Max Effort Upper Pin Press 2x3 @ 290 2x3 @ 300 (one set shown) 2x2 @ 310 (one set shown) 1x1 @ 330 (failed this) 1x1 @ 320 (shown) Absolutely underestimated this movement which is very foreign to me to begin with. The sets of 310lbs were supposed to be triples and the 330lbs should have never been failed. Learned 2 lessons today; 1. I lied and pin press sucks more than floor press. 2. Back to going somewhat heavy again after a solid Deload week. I was going to shoot for 10 reps, but @phatdoods told me he banged out 15 at the same weight so I had to step it up a bit. Upping the frequency has definitely helped.
