Diner Post ~~ Working w Murphy again ~ Today i was really busy at the barn that i haven’t eaten anything today. I went to stables bucks to eat a little something before schooling Murphy. I took a little walk before going to the stables. As i arrived, some girls were going out on a trail ride. They asked me to join but i refused. I dont have my mind on a trail ride, i have enough on my mind with the results that haven’t came out yet. Im so stressful with them that i needed a tea to relax, and to get my mind off that. Emma couldn’t help me today cause she had some stuff to do at her house. I put a halter on Murphy and tacked him. He feels himself with the @jorvik.neightion saddle. Its so comfy for both of us! I leaded him all the way to the riding arena. We could walk there cause i slept at SilverGlade village yesterday for the show. I forgot, i cannot talk about the show or i’ll get it on my mind again. Let’s go on our jumping. I mounted Murphy in the riding arena, but before i tighten his saddle and put his bridle on. We warmed up a little bit before going on. We went on a course, we jumped the first jump, it was relax and Murphy was jumping really high! We landed the first jump, everything was fine. There was a wrong feeling though... It felt right.. Right.. Its never supposed to be right with Murphy. Its supposed to be amazing. But we continued, the second jump was a bit better.. Well not really. The feeling was still there but it was amazingly landed. We had a loop to do before the 3rd jump. On the way to the loop Murphy began to buck and rear. I was holding myself with his mane to not fall. It was getting worst and worst. He wouldn’t stop. I was so stressed of what could happen. I closed my eyes and my tears were running down. Murphy finally decided to stop. I was very lucky. But i soon dismounted him and untack him. I trailered back to dundull. The ride was silent and i didn’t talk to anyone on my way. I putted Murphy in his stall and i haven’t gave him anything. All i wanted is to go sleep.
It’s eventing timeeee - So today starts the 3 day Crosscountry event, and me and Cocodash are so excited. So today was the trot up.. - I woke up with the sun in my eyes. I slowly got up. It was all sunny outside and so would it be for rest of the week, perfect for XC. I got ready. Loaded Cocodash and then we drove towards Jorvik stables. - As we arrived a lot of people was already there. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. It has been a while since me and Cocodash have competed. I got Cocodash settled. I petted him and groomed him, and soon it was our turn. The speaker yelled up my name, and now the butterflies seriously began to fly, but I took it with a smile. I clicked the lead rope in his halter and Cocodash looked at me with his deep brown eyes. Then it was time. - It went smoothly. No trouble, no jumpscares, no nothing. It went well without any problems. And that was it, the trot up was now over. - I’m more than ready for these three days, and I couldn’t be more excited to start competing again. Good luck to everyone in this competition! - ➷➷➷➷➷ #starstable#ssorp#starstableedit#starstableonline #sso #ssohorses#starstableonlineedit#starstableonly#starstableonlineonly#starstableonlineplayer#ssoonly#ssoedit#3dayxcvetcheck
Cloud will be going on foal watch in 2 days! I can’t wait ☺️ But aside from that, it was time to get back to training the evil munchkin. Gunner greeted me with an enthusiastic little nicker and was more then happy to come trotting out his stall. I tacked him up with no fuss and we headed outside. The sun was shining but it was dreadfully cold. I think it was a mistake to wear short sleeves 🙂 None the less, I mounted and we walked on down to the paddock, where one of my workers graciously set up barrels for us. Gunner eyed the barrel and snorted at it. I pat his neck, calming him down. We started out by cantering the course 3 times. No barrels got kicked today 😅 Now we will run the course. I whipped the reins and shouted to go, and Gunner did go. He shot off and galloped torwards the first barrel. I pulled the reins hard to left and we flew around the barrel and charged torwards the next one. Gunner threw his head up and left out a delightful whinny as we looped around the second barrel. Dirt flew up everywhere as Gunner dug his hooves into the ground. As my eyes locked onto the third barrel, Gunner lurched forward with an insane speed burst. He was going way to fast. I tried to slow him down as we turned around the barrel, but he wouldn’t. My left leg crashed into the barrel, knocking it over. Gunner slipped and fell to his knees as I fell off sideways landing in the dirt. Gunner bucked out and ran off to the other side of the paddock. I got up slowly and wiped myself off. I lifted my pant leg to see if my leg was ok. It was red but I didn’t feel any pain. I hoisted the barrel back up and whistled for Gunner. He came cantering over and began licking my face. I laughed at him and hugged his neck. I mounted back up and we ran the course again. The first and second barrel went gorgeously, but as we approached the third barrel again, Gunner sped up and we ended up falling again. Gunner stayed close this time and watched me as I got up and picked the barrel back up. I sighed and looked at Gunner. He’s such a pain in my rear end. My leg was throbbing but nothing I couldn’t handle. I mounted back up. 3 times the charm right? (More in comments)
