Well, guess what I did yesterday while the sand storm was raving outside?! I stayed home and made another batch of sugar-free strawberry jam!! 😊🙌🏻 and I wrote the recipe and instructions for you 💁🏼‍♀️Thank me later 😇 My kids eat their crepes with it and take sandwiches to school and I don’t feel guilty about it 😌 so it definitely a life saver. Chocolate avocado mousse 🍫 🥑 i really struggle to eat breakfast, I just have no appetite in the morning. I know this effects my energy levels and I feel better even when I make the effort to have a good breakfast. Something that works for me is to eat something small but nutritionally dense. This choc avocado mousse is surprisingly healthy but tastes amazing! The avocado in there adds healthy fats and creaminess. It’s also really simple to make and took me 5 minutes! Recipe: 2tbsp cocoa/cacao 1/2 avocado 1 small tub coconut yogurt 1 tbsp maple syrup or 2 dates for sweetness 1 scoop of protein powder (optional) // Blend in a blender or food processor and top with fruit, chia seeds and coconut flakes. Day9: I’m calling this salad the Watts family girls fried beans and avocado salad dressing salad 😁 So we had a little get together the other day and ended up creating something quite yummy in the salad department completely by accident. It was just sort of everything we had thrown in and by pure luck ended up tasting delicious. On a bed of mixed lettuce we topped it with: 1 can corn pan fried Chopped cherry tomatoes Sliced black olives Sweet potato cubes and oven baked Red onion sliced Seeds of any type Mixed beans pan fried: 1 can black beans 1 can chick peas 1 can brown lentils Fry off on stove top, whilst frying add to pan garlic powder, Moroccan spice, turmeric powder, paprika, a pinch of cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to your desired taste. Avocado drizzle: Blend together 1 avocado 3 cloves of garlic Juice from 1 lemon 2 tablespoons coconut yoghurt 5cm piece of fresh cucumber A dash of oil Blend together Add water to reach desired viscosity Stir in whole grain mustard 1-2 tablespoons depending on taste. I used: 40g quick oats (HEB) 300ml unsweetened almond milk (part HEA) 100ml water Tbsp ground flaxseed (2.5) Tsp cinnamon (free) Stevia to sweeten (free) Fresh chopped banana (free) Fresh blueberries (speed) Frozen raspberries (speed) Cooked the porridge in the microwave in a measuring jug for about 4-5 mins stirring several times and pouring into my bowl before adding the fruit :) #vegetarianrecipes
