It's amazing what this fitness journey can bring. It's been highs and lows but most important is the family that you create. You are the company you keep. My circle was large awhile ago but it wasn't in bettering ourselves but survival. I don't regret those days and the consequences that I would endure. It's ok to change but never forget where you came from. I got a chance to share a special moment with some beautiful people this past weekend. Sometimes you connect with people from different aspects of life to where it feels like you've known each other your whole lives. I wanna say thank you to the newly weds @caitlinvannos & @austendewolf that invited me to their wedding this weekend in California. We need to get back to where it wasn't bad things that brought us together but the good things that kept us strong. We just need a little bit more love. This world would be a better place. 09/07/2018 will always hold a special place in my heart. #theyearofdewolf
First the stare in the mirror. Take you deep breaths. Focus. Make sure form is correct. Lift. Then realize that the weight was easy. It's PR week. You run out of room on your bar to add weight and you can go up. powerlifting woes. Gains brought to you by @platform_ready Guess I'll have to PR again. I ain't mad.
The Definition of a trainer is Tristan. Some people think certifications and degrees defines a good trainer. I'll be the first to tell you that i thought that was true until I met Tristan. Trainers like him are a needle in a hay stack. I've learned so much from this guy it's ridiculous. One of the most creative and inspiring people I know. From the time I met him at YMCA it was instant that we would become good friends. His extensive background not only in fitness but in life has motivated me to grow as a person. Think outside the box. Change the way you see fitness and success. Helping people overcome obstacles. Don't let the size fool you. This dude is el diablo when it comes to training. Our love for music made it known that we would build a relationship outside of the fitness would. Our talks about life, family and the future will always be embedded in my head. What makes a great trainer is not what you do when you are seen but what you do when you aren't. You are a great father, husband and friend. You helped the dream of FINASeattle a reality. Helped me grow. Though we are small in size we are big in community. I never say goodbye because goodbye's are forever. I'll say. I'll See you later my friend. FINA family will surely miss you. You are a master trainer and a master human being in my book. "EL Diablo".
Welcome to the 300 lb. club @laurna_doon Hard work pays off in time. One month with the proper rest. Proper form. Proper trust within each other. Gains are obtained. Now on to squats. Patience is key. .............................................................................. 265 lbs. 275 lbs. 285 lbs. 295 lbs. 300 lbs.
People asked me about the Keto diet. So instead of giving my opinion on it with out trying it. Im gonna try it then give my opinion. Sometimes trainers need to broaden their horizon on different ways to a healthier you. Can't give advice without trying it. Your sacrifice could save/change another's life. @gsxrgyrl
My workout partner is on to her new adventure. It's been a pleasure to see you grow these past 4 years. You are definitely one of the most mature people I know. You are way past your time. I'll remember those conversations about life, workouts and how much we are gonna turn up on the weekends. I remember the first time I met you. You weren't into fitness at all and now gains is your life. Go show them how we do at #wsu Washington State University. Now I'm a fan. Go Cougs! That's only because of you. I'll support you and be in your corner whenever you need me. That's for life. One of the first families to take me in and call me your own. I believe in the statement "Blood doesn't make us family. Loyalty does" That time when we were out at the grocery store (meal prepping of course) and one of your classmates walked up and you introduced me as your brother. Now that's love. ❤️. I love you. I admire you work ethic. Things about you can't be made. Just things you are born with. Remember as you embark on this journey. You only have one life. Don't set your expectations to high. Live for you and cherish those who care about you. I wish nothing but the best for you. I'm only one call away if you need me. Gonna miss you @aadele.g. You go girl.
"Everyone you meet asks if you have a career, are married or own a house as if life was some kind of grocery list. But no one ever asks you if you are happy". ...................................................................... Live free my friends. Forget the Joneses.
