Start off your week right by reading our latest “Why We Love Them” feature on the Porsche 964 911. Link in our bio! Porsche’s 964, though not the final air-cooled 911, marked several significant departures for the iconic model line, including its first truly automatic transmission option, its first all-wheel drive system, and first application of fully integrated bumpers, offering a preview of things to come in successive 993, 996, 997 and 991 generations. Let’s take a closer look into the 964’s history, spec, and why we love them. Link in our bio!

On this edition of BaT Car Talk, the BaT office staff gathered together for a delicious lunch of Little Star Pizza and convened around a Triumph TR4A IRS and a TR6, both graciously lent to us by friends of BaT. Highlighting differences in drivetrain and what to look out for when buying a Triumph were fun to discuss. Fun fact: this TR6 has an overdrive gearbox out of an ‘80s Toyota Celica!

SOLD ON BaT for $291,000 is this 1966 ICON Old School BR Build . This one of a kind ICON Old School BR will be the first example of ICON’s newest creation, a 1966 Ford Bronco reengineered with modern performance and reliability on a custom Art Morrison chassis. This Old School version is a brand new edition just released by ICON. The build is nearing completion and this auction is an opportunity to jump the 2-year waiting list for the next public opportunity. This new edition retains more of the truck’s original design character while featuring a new aluminum Ford DOHC 5.0-liter Coyote V8 rated for 426 horsepower and 402 ft-lb of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and an Atlas II transfer case. The Bronco body is finished in glossy orange over beige Carlyle leather upholstery featuring orange houndstooth inserts. To celebrate the release of this model, @ICON4x4 is partnering with @Autotypedesign to donate 10% of this truck’s sale price to their Emerging Designer Scholarship Fund, a scholarship program investing in tomorrow’s design leaders by supporting their education, providing mentorship, and giving them access to a collaborative community to field-test their ideas. Jonathan Ward of ICON will accept the payment and the vehicle will be completed in April 2019. If you are looking for other ways to contribute to the scholarship, a variety of t-shirts have also been designed with 10% of the proceeds being donated to the fund. Follow the link in our bio to catch our Radwood Sonoma coverage and gallery! The rain didn’t hurt the party at Radwood Sonoma last weekend. An impressive turn out braved the weather to celebrate the new classics. The raddest cars were parked above Turn 7, overlooking the action of the 24 Hours of Lemons. Special thanks to everyone who embraced mud and came to chat with us in the BaT tent. If you missed us at this event, we will be at the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles, California for the 8th Annual European Car Show.

The March Meet at Famoso Raceway this past weekend was a vintage drag racer's dream and was there! Check out some of the amazing cars we loved especially the yellow dragster featuring a Jimmy inline-six w/Stromberg carbs on a custom manifold.

We’re always impressed by the turnout at Radwood but this 928 really caught our eye. Period skis, snow chains, that license plate. A real-life diorama!
