"...BUT THIS IS WHERE IT STOPS" Growing up, I had a series of misfortunes and I was told, "Don't worry yourself, It runs in the family," Okaaay, but I was not going to let that be my excuse from greatness. I know a lot of people who are really trying in their lives; hard workers, passionate and committed but it's just like there is a ceiling already set for them; nobody in their family seems to ever make it past that point. Whether in Business/ Education/ Relationships/ Wealth etc. You might know of situations where one aunt/ uncle you never met had a certain condition that got passed onto you. As it is sometimes asked by doctors. Now if a "dis-ease" can be hereditary; from someone you never even met, so can misfortunes and other spiritual imprecations. They can run down generations. REFUSE to limit your life goals & achievements based on your physical lineage, you have a royal lineage in Christ Jesus. You have the opportunity to break the trend. You can be the first of many to make it big, set the bar high, give others hope. You have to decide and declare, "IT MAY HAVE RUN IN THE FAMILY ...BUT THIS IS WHERE IT STOPS."

TODAY'S TIP FOR NETWORKING ONLINE (Part 2): YOUR CHOICE OF PICTURES/ AVATARS SPEAKS VOLUMES Did you ever think of what your profile picture tells about you? Especially, your profile picture on LinkedIn or on a job website should be credible and show how you want to be addressed because if someone doesn’t know you, the first impression s/he makes about you is by looking at your picture. Before some prospects even respond to your request/ messages online they first open your profile to check if perhaps you have crossed paths. I know you want to look cool before some of your friends, but remember your real target audience, is that the best representation of you? It is really important that people recognize you from your profile picture when they meet you face to face. From my own experience, I know people can look completely different when I check their profile before I meet them face to face. When you use your profiles for Social Selling or to find opportunities like your dream job it is important that people can see your face. The more professional and clear your picture is, the faster people take you seriously and the more willing they are to engage with you. AN EXEMPLARY PROFILE PIC: A picture where people can see your head and shoulders, taken from the front and of course a nice smile. A clear background makes it easier for people to see your face without losing attention.

TODAY'S TIP FOR NETWORKING ONLINE (Part 1): SELF INTRO [Picture: Standing next to the great Juliana Gutiérrez of Low Carbon City, Colombia] I have found so many business, learning & networking opportunities through my connections with people on social media. Social media is not evil; just like a knife, it is a powerful tool – it all depends on how you use it. . LET THE FRIEND/ CONNECTION REQUEST BE FOLLOWED BY A MESSAGE. When the target person doesn’t know you, even if they do, send them an introductory message. Your intro should include the purpose/ agenda. I just drafted & saved different messages including requesting an opportunity for a meeting/ mentorship/ business/ inquiry. When done well, This first impression and gesture elevates you and increases the reciprocation levels. EXAMPLE: "Hello Sir xxxx, this is Charles Lipenga from Malawi. I work with xxxx under project xxxx. I was so fascinated to learn about your great achievements, and I added you as my connection because I have been learning from your articles, specifically the one on Artifical intelligence. we will be launching a product that will assist educators in African countries using AI tech. I would like to get some insight from you on xxxx." . . . .

Whatever role you have to play, play it so well that people will only have to say WoW!!!. Be faithful in the little, you will be amazed how people will pay you just to watch you do want you love doing. From cleaning/ washing or even holding someone's mic. DO IT WITH EXCELLENCY. You owe it to yourself.

Not all of your friends/ family members are jealous" at State House Malawi - 1896488797148145702

TOP 4 STEPS I USE TO GROW MY SOCIAL VALUE [The Power of Connections] Not all of your friends/ family members are jealous, some don't recommend you or your business because of the poor character/ the lack of discipline you display. . BE THE PERSON WHO YOU CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 1. Value & cultivate good relationships - Give people your genuine attention and care to follow up on their progress/ life & not because you want to make a request. 2. Find the Key in others - What is it that matters to them. Do you know what they are seeking at the moment? Are they into sports/ music/ fashion? Are they looking for a more affordable space to rent? Are they looking for a scholarship/ new job? 3. Find means to add value to people. - How can you help? Is it by your uplifting words, what kind of support can you genuinely offer. Is it your expertise that can help, or your insights/ experience/ networks/ motivation. WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER. 4. Connect people to opportunities and other people. - You won't lose a thing, people value people who lead them to opportunities. Send a link of a job vacancy/ training opportunity to someone who probably needs it. Introduce them to people you know might mutually benefit... But again it all has to start from point -. Do you value your relationship with them? Can you identify the key in your colleagues? Can you identify how you can add value to their lives/ ventures? I find that the more I connect people to opportunities and help them win, the more people are willing to go out of their way to help me win in life. Every person has connections within the community, within their families, at school and at work, where there is some level of influence. What makes the difference among people is how connections are utilized. One of the leader’s best assets is their relationships. You might think you don't have connections in high places, but I tell you, let God be your connection and remember the “Power of Connections” is all about building relationships. What kind of relationships are you building? TAG SOMEONE/ AN ENTERPRISE YOU WANT OTHERS TO KNOW ABOUT. Give a short description of their services/ products.

DO A LIFE AUDIT - NOBODY IS SUCCESSFUL ALONE. The first two pictures were taken just before and after I walked 10 meters above the ground on a tiny rope, holding on to nothing but a friend who was walking on a similar rope. Apart from your own efforts to make it in life, you are 10 times more likely to succeed if you have the right people around you. Do a life audit, are you surrounded by people with the right knowledge, skills, resources and motivation to help you get where you need to be? One of the most significant factors in any person's life is the people around that person. I used to wish of having friends who would push me toward success; good work ethic, creating initiatives, skill development, and spiritual growth until I realized I can only attract what I am. May we work on becoming what we expect in others. I also realized how precious people are, let's honour and celebrate them. You can do a life audit today, check how many people you know or connected to against those who you really count on to uplift you. I had a friend, a brother, who I fully counted on, who understood and supported my crazy ideas, who I wish saw how our Grand Plan to succeed is manifesting. Sadly he passed away 2 years ago. Looking back now I know you don't get many people like that in your lifetime. So start appreciating and recognizing those who are there for you, to push you forward and remember you attract what you are. May YOU work on becoming what YOU expect in others. TAG AT LEAST ONE FRIEND YOU COUNT ON.

TODAY WITH THE BEAST ON SITE. Advice I got from Dwayne The Rock Johnson "Be the hardest working person in the room/ industry." Seat heater and seat ventilation. Oh boy. I am loving this. Auto adjustable seats and steering wheel. Amazing interior Plus the 20-inch aluminium wheels feature a combination of deeply-concaved V-shaped mouldings and 20 spokes extending outward. The design emphasizes the originality and large size feel of the 20-inch wheel.
