Today is 11:11. It is a powerful day for practice and meditation. How will you use your power? I’m going to send 💙 to my friends and family in California.
Lizard Lunge feels so amazing after a ride! 🚴🏻♀️ And, pretty much anytime, now that I think about it!
The struggle is real. I finally found a word that describes the feeling I have after returning from India. The word is HOMESICK. Of course I missed my family and friends while I was gone, but in almost all other ways I feel more at home there than here. I went to the Indian grocery right near my studio today, for a booster shot to help get me back on planet earth. I think it helped. And... I found CURRY LEAVES which is a special treat.

I see you. 🙏 I see your light, even in the moments when you feel it’s too faint to see. 🔥💛 I see you, and the light in me, bows to the light in you. 🔥 May we each be a lighthouse to someone in need today. 🔥 And if you need a lighthouse today, allow yourself to receive light from someone else. We all have those days, and once we recognize it and tend to it, our inner light flickers a tiny bit more. 🔥💛🔥💛🔥💛
I practice yoga asana (poses) every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. 🤸🏽♀️ I practice mindfulness, meditation, and/or contemplation daily too. 🧘🏻♀️ But I also do other things for my physical health in my quest for wellness and balance. Rebounding for cardio, fun, heart health and lymph benefits. ❤️ Weights for strength and bone density. 🏋️♀️ Indoor cycle for cardio, heart health, and to nourish my competitive side. 🚴🏻♀️ What’s your current wellness routine?
Trust me, this green smoothie wasn’t the thing I wanted for lunch today. 🌿 But it’s the thing I needed.
Cooking dinner in a clay pot we’ve had since we got married 25 years ago. ❤️ Lots of yummy fresh spices!! And artichokes as our veggie.
One of my favorite stretches after a bike ride. It targets my back pocket area (glute) in a way nothing else does. It’s so yummy!
We need quality time away from technology. Seriously. Pick out a block of time this weekend to unplug from technology, and plug into your soul. I’ll do the same. We’ll both be better off for it, as will those around us who will get our undivided attention. 🖤
