Huge congrats to #CLF Scholar Gianni who graduated this week! We’re so proud of you!🤗 • #Repost@giannimichelle Feeling so blessed and proud of myself today. This journey wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for the people at the @claralionelfdn and my mom. I’m so thankful for them and to everyone else who has helped me throughout my college experience.
We're thrilled to share our 2018 annual report! Over the past two years we've worked to tackle some of the world's biggest challenges — from supporting girls secondary education and entrepreneurship in Malawi to supporting a new approach to emergency response in the Caribbean focused on preparedness and resilience. Thank you to our fearless leader @badgalriri, incredible Board of Directors, team, supporters, partners around the world and the entire #CLF family for making our work possible. And thank YOU for being on this journey with us! Link🔝in our bio to learn more.
Congrats to our amazing partner @operationtriplethreat on an incredible performance of #Matilda this past weekend in #Barbados. There are just TWO more performances this Saturday. I will never be able to thank The Clara Lionel Foundation enough for this stepping stone into college and adulthood. With the help to attend college, I am determined to continue to work towards my goals so that I can make a positive contribution to whichever society I will be called to serve and continue my service of giving back. - Gianna, #CLF Scholar #GlobalScholarshipProgram
I was also involved in several activities that made my experience so much more enjoyable. I was awarded the grand opportunity of visiting Uganda, Africa with other team members of the YAALI (Young African Leadership Initiative) Club at my college to partake in a research involving women and children. I enjoyed living amongst the locals and learning their lifestyle. My most important take-away from the whole experience is that we should not only learn to be content with what we have but to use our talents wisely to the glory of God even if it’s very little because He will give the increase. - Gianna, #CLF Scholar #GlobalScholarshipProgram
