The energy from grapes lasts longer, as it takes a little longer than usual to digest the carbohydrates. Grapes are rich in potassium, calcium and vitamin C. Red Raspberries contain strong antioxidants such as Vitamin C, quercetin and gallic acid that fight against cancer, heart and circulatory disease and age-related decline. They are high in ellagic acid, a known chemopreventative, and have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. Raspberries can be eaten fresh out of hand, added to yogurt, cereal, or smoothies, or stirred into ice cream. Freeze them to use later or add them to salads.
