Glowing through my recovery. It's a beautiful thing to be alive. 🦋♊💚🙏Can't believe the doctors wanted my mom to abort me back in 1988. Saying we both weren't going to make it. And if my mom had I would not make it... They must be crazy. To God be the Glory. Still here 😝 the devil is a liar . . .

Graduated highschool in 2006 at the age of 18. Graduated at a University with degree of bachelor of fine arts in fashion design in 2010 at the age of 22. I network and interacted with many ppl in my lifetime and so bless that I met and accomplished a lot. I'm still not where I want to be. There's a lot of times I feel disappointed. It's hard and there's a lot of struggles. But I still try to continue to build my brand and flourish new ideas everyday. And I'm tired of putting myself down. I'm educated. I'm smart. I'm beautiful. I'm determined and extremely multi-talented. I feel like a lot of us put our self down when were not financially where we want to be, or not where we are career-wise. We never tend to look at all the accomplishments came across with our lifetime. We expect everything to happen in a certain way in a certain time frame when it never usually turn out to be that way. Just because the next person probably made it and is well-established or financially secure doesn't mean I won't get there I'm just not there right now. I'm extremely grateful where I am now and humbled learning a lot and constantly still learning. I need to work hard to be well established and secure within my own company that I'm building within my art and fashion brand. Lot of parents want or expect their child to be doctors and lawyers and be well established career-wise and financially secured and I understand that they want the best for their children but a lot of the times their children want different outside of those criteria. Nowadays I learned that there's many ways for you to make money legitimately and college is not always the answer or is for everyone. After my child graduate high school I will ask them what they want to do versus me telling them what they should do. I want my child to be well educated and speak up for themselves and never let anyone walk all over them but live their life for them and not for others. I'm proud of myself and what I've learn and experience within my 30 years on this Earth. Sometimes you have to humble yourself instead of being greedy all the time.

My 2nd surgery was on May 23rd. I had a exploratory laparotomy surgical procedure. In this particular operation, the abdomen is opened and the abdominal organs examined for injury or disease. It is the standard of care in various blunt and penetrating trauma situations in which there may be multiple life-threatening injuries, and in many diagnostic situations in which the operation is undertaken in search of a unifying cause for multiple signs and symptoms of disease.

(My testimony....) I'm sorry. Must warn you this is a graphic and personal video but I like to say and show how God is so good to me. I was cut and dissected like a frog out of my 2nd surgery prior to my first surgery due to an intestinal obstruction. Dealing with pain, anguish and enduring uncomfortable situation in the hospital was the worst experience but I survived and made it out alive. I praise God for being with me every step of the way and giving me the strength I never thought I had... I made it out that major surgery because of Him and because of my will to fight. My scars will forever remind me about this situation. My beautiful ugly truth. My experience. And showing me how God is not done with me yet. No miracle is too big or too small for God. Truly bless. 🙏

2018 taught me perseverance, patience, giving my burdens to God, humility, me accepting what was and what is. 2018 truly taught me a lot. This year I preserved and overcame so much and then some. Being in pain and constantly bleeding due to fibroids for couple years now and finally had them removed this year. Was always told I had 3. But they found 7..... 6 was removed and 1 small one was left because it was near an artery. Then had a blood infection from my blood transfusions then getting a bowel obstruction leading to my second surgery for my exploratory laparotomy surgery took a toll. Tubes in and out of you, iv's, antibiotics, potassium, feeding tube and so much more. Basically had to start all over again when it came to trying to walk straight without hunching over, me starting to eat small portions of specific food before I build up to eat regular food again and hold food down. Even things like drinking water or using the bathroom was something I had to get use to again once organs were functioning again. I overcame a lot this year. Ppl will see a pretty face when the make up is done to the t and see how good the recovery is going but don't know your still going through it. Please Lord continue to give me this strength I possess. Life is full with misery, pain and disappointments yet also love, beauty, happiness and joy. I'm glad I experience both because you can not grow without experiencing both. I'm grateful for those who supported me and actually was there for me through this difficult year. Your prayers, your calls, your text, your visits and emotional and financial support meant a lot to me 🏥 🙏
