L'oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara, Rs 799 ✨ ★★★ ✨ This is a really good mascara if you like waterproof mascaras. It coats and curls every lash and gives you a gorgeous false lash effect. This mascara is said to be a dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex. While the formula is not identical the end result is nearly identical. The L'oreal formula is a little more wet in comparison to the Too Faced one so if you layer too much it might clump up on your lashes. Overall definitely a must have for the monsoons! ✨ P.S: I Warn you, you’re going to need some heavy duty waterproof makeup remover to get this off your lashes. I recommend you use the Neutrogena waterproof lip and eye makeup remover and some cotton pads to remove this. ✨
Bad Habit, Aphrodite Eyeshadow Palette, $14 ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ @badhabitbeauty is a UK based brand that makes some pretty great eyeshadow palettes. This ‘Athena’ palette is supposed to be a dupe for the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk. While I don’t have the desert dusk to compare, the pigmentation on this eyeshadow palette is unbelievable! It blends easily and the colours are intensely pigmented. If you do a quick YouTube search, you’ll definitely be convinced to buy a few. I bought mine from some Instagram resellers, you can check out @internationalmakeup_
🆕 Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Foaming Cleanser, Rs 220 ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ What intrigued me about this face wash was that it has glycerin and beeswax. While it claims to be brightening, I can’t confirm. I’ve been using it about a week and I really do like it. It’s deeply foaming, yet gentle on the skin. It effectively takes off any residual makeup and oils from the skin too. I like it enough to repurchase! ✨ Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF50, Rs 825 ✨ ★★ ✨ I’ve always wanted to try a zinc based sunscreen. This is a physical sunscreen that forms a barrier between your skin and the sun. It’s water resistant for about 80 minutes. I would take this with me to use on my face if I was going for a beach vacay. But for daily use this is an absolute NO! It’s thick and goopy, it’s almost impossible to spread it out. It takes a lot of effort to apply an even layer and blend it out properly. It leaves a very, visible white cast on the skin that makes you look ‘bright’ if you have fair skin. If you’re medium to dusky, you will just look ghostly white. I don’t recommend this unless you like that kind of sunscreen.
Olay Beauty Fluid, Approx Rs 300 ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ If there's one moisturiser I can always rely on its this. I keep going back to it year after year. It's been a staple in my kit ever since I've seen my mom use it. The middle east version of this Olay Beauty Fluid is BOMB! It's the perfect basic-everyday-moisturiser. You can use it day and night. It's got the perfect liquid-y consistency, it wont clog your pores or cause acne. Wears beautifully under makeup and hydrates the skin just enough in summer and winter! Perfect for someone with normal - combination skin ✨ I always try to buy the Olay Beauty Fluid from the middle east, for some reason I think they're way better than the Indian version. There are a few stores in Mumbai that sell the middle-east version like Alfa or Beautiful, grab one if you can! ✨
Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom - Body Butter and Body Mist (Approx Rs 1,495 each) ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ A light floral fragrance, this one from @bathandbodyworksindia is definitely my favourite. It's light and lingers on mildly all day. Nothing over powering and overly fruity, it's a delicate feminine fragrance. Lasts for 3-5 hours without the need for reapplication. Apply the body butter and then spritz the mist all over your skin for a long-lasting lingering fragrance all day. The body butter is rich and absorbs in instantly. I wouldn't use it during the summer months though, unless you have very very dry skin. It's very moisturising and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky! Definitely like this much better than The Body Shop body butters!
Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Solution, Rs 660 ✨ ★★★★★ This is hands down the best Micellar water I've used. And I've tried every single Micellar water bottle in the market. It removes even waterproof makeup without rubbing too hard. You don't even have to rinse it out if u don't want to. It leaves your skin perfectly clean and not dry, not oily. It kills me that this is so expensive because I just don't want to use it. If you wear, try, test and experiment with makeup the way I do, you're definitely going to go through atleast two of these bottles every month. The one I have is a travel sized one so I'm saving it for my next vacay.
Bioderma White Objective Serum, Rs 2,690 ✨ ★★★★★ I bought this on recommendation of my dermatologist, Dr. Siddharth Garekar @garekarsmddermatologyclinic and I’m not even surprised I love it. Everything he’s recommended has been spot on! The serum is meant to lighten pigmentation, acne scars and uneven skin and brighten your overall complexion. It has Vitamin C and glycolic acid as active ingredients, so if blemishes, clogged pores and brown spots are a concern, you will definitely enjoy this. While the Vitamin C will brighten, the glycolic acid will exfoliate. It’s really the best of both worlds! ✨ It has a gel texture that absorbs into the skin instantly, not sticky and no fragrance. It’s definitely expensive, but I will repurchase it because I love Vitamin C and Glycolic acid and this serum eliminates the need for me to buy two separate products ✨ How to use: There’s a small bottle of concentrated Vitamin C powder in the packaging, you need to break it open and mix it with the main fluid in the bottle to activate. There is one downside however to a product like that, you need to be regular and use it up quickly or the Vitamin C loses potency. That’s not to say you need to use it up in a week, just make sure you use it regularly every night until it finishes. Don’t buy it if you’re not regular with skincare and might end up leaving it lying around for months.
L'Oreal Hydra Fresh Anti-Ox Grape Seed Hydrating Mask-In Double Essence, Rs 950 ✨ ★★★★ This is a serum+cream hybrid. The packaging has two separate sections and they pump out together on the palm of your hand half pink, half white. It’s quite fascinating to look at, TBH. It’s just a basic hydrating serum, sinks in quickly. No sticky greasy feeling. I use it during the day, it gives your skin a healthy dewy look and works well under makeup and sunscreen. The product is fragranced, so if you have sensitive skin you might want to stay away. ✨ L'Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Anti-Ox Grape Seed Hydrating Mask-In Eye Gel, Rs 499 ✨ ★★ I was looking for a lightweight, non-greasy eye cream to wear during the day. This one is just the punch of hydration I was looking for. Lightweight, not greasy at all and absorbs instantly. It won’t leave your under eyes sticky or greasy. While I absolutely love the texture, and how easily this sinks in - this makes my eyes red, swollen and tired. It’s a great product to wear under your concealer but it really irritates my eyes. I have no idea what it is about this that does that. Possibly the fragrance or the ingredients? I’d skip this if you have sensitive eyes.
Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash, Rs 325 ★★★★ ✨ Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser, Rs 385 ★★★★★ ✨ I picked these up on a whim when I entered one of the Nykaa stores, it was one of those days when I wanted to shop for no reason at all. Let me tell you I wasn’t expecting to be wowed, at all. BUT OH.MY.GOD! I LOVE THESE! I want to buy their entire range!! ✨ My skin rejects most moisturisers and I get acne with practically anything new. But this one - my skin just drinks it up and seems to love it! It’s colour, chemical AND fragrance-free so if you have acne prone or sensitive skin you can use it safely. It layers well, apply multiple layers and it won’t flake. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy and looks beautiful under makeup. This a fantastic moisturiser if you have dry skin. If you have oily skin there’s a light version of this that you can buy. ✨ The face wash is great too, just that you have to use a larger quantity than usual to wash makeup and skincare off very well. It leaves the face feeling clean, but yet soft and supple. No stretchy feeling. ✨ I 100% recommend you try these💚
Josie Maran, Argan Oil, Light $49 ✨ ★★★★ ✨ I really do love this lightweight Argan oil, but would I pay 49$ for it again? No. The texture is great, it absorbs in easily without leaving a greasy film. I love using it on my skin, my scalp and ends too, I just wouldn’t pay as much for it again. It’s a beautiful formula and if you want to use pure, vegan, cruelty-free argan oil on your face, definitely get this. If you want a multi-purpose oil, there are cheaper, more accessible brands selling Argan Oil in India and abroad that are just as good if not better. Try the Argan Oil from The Ordinary if you want something cheaper.
Clinique Moisture Surge, Rs 2,550 ✨ ★★★ ✨ If you have oily skin, you will really enjoy using this. It’s a lightweight, gel-based moisturiser that sits well on your skin leaving it soft all day. It works well under makeup and in especially summers. It’s not really going to do anything for you if you have very dry skin though. Try the hydrating jelly or the Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate if you have dry skin, I absolutely love those two. Those go deep inside the skin leaving it moisturized from the inside out!
Bath And Body Works, Aromatherapy Candles - Comfort and Relax, Rs 2,295 each ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ I truly believe in Aromatherapy, it’s helped me relax, rejuvenate and de-stress at the end of a hard day. I try to incorporate a little bit of Aromatherapy in my life everyday through my diffuser. I mix and match my customised concoction of essential oils to suit my mood. I do love candles and these ones from @bathandbodyworksindia have the same benefits of real essential oils. To be honest, I enjoy the Relax candle a little more than I do the Comfort one. Light em’ up and your entire room will be smelling like lavender, vanilla and patchouli. ✨ The candles are a little expensive, but they do last forever and I would definitely recommend the ones from their Aromatherapy line.
Rivela Gel SPF 30+ Dry Touch SunScreen, Rs 850 ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ If you have dry, acne prone skin the Rivela gel sunscreen is absolutely amazing. It’s got Argan oil to hydrate and heal your skin and the formula is very primer-y. It’s not matte, but it isn’t greasy either. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated and silky. The sunscreen is also water-resistant, I’ve worn it on vacay. I’ve used this for almost two years now and it’s never broken me out! I bought this on the recommendation of my dermatologist @garekarsmddermatologyclinic in Gurgaon. ✨ I have cystic acne prone skin, FYI. The formula is a mix of physical and chemical sunscreen. ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ #minireview#minireviews#beautyreview#honestreview#makeupreview#beautyblogger#sunscreen#sunscreencream#rivelagel#arganoil#SPF30#antiaging#productreview#igtopshelfie #shelfie#discoverunder1k #wakeupandmakeup#hairmakeupdiary #makegirlz#hairmakeupdiary#makeupblogger #nidhireviews#minireviewswithnidhi#mineralsunscreen#chemicalsunscreen#physicalsunscreen
Garnier Wrinkle Lift Anti-Ageing Cream Rs 150 ✨ ★★★★★ ✨ This is a great moisturiser if you have dry skin. You can use it under makeup or alone, it plumps up the skin and makes it look bouncy. The cream has a velvety soft texture. I haven’t used it enough to tell you much about the anti-wrinkle claims. The formula has extracts of bribery and cherry and ginger to firm up the skin. I love how affordable and accessible this is, you can pretty much buy it at your chemist! Don’t forget to use sunscreen if you’re applying this during the day. ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ #minireview#minireviews#beautyreview#honestreview#makeupreview#beautyblogger#garnier#garnierindia#wrinkles#antiwrinklecream#antiaging#productreview#igtopshelfie #shelfie#discoverunder1k #wakeupandmakeup#hairmakeupdiary #makegirlz#hairmakeupdiary#makeupblogger #nidhireviews#minireviewswithnidhi
Sephora Collection - Brow Thickener, Rs. 1,100 ✨ ★★★ ✨ This is basically a brow darkening powder. The applicator is spongey and drenched in this really finely milled powder. It makes outlining and filling in your brows really easy. I’m not particularly fond of this since I don’t like bold brows. But if you do, it’s definitely worth a shot. It’s easier than using a brow pomade. I would recommend you brush through your eyebrows with a clean spoolie after using this to ensure that it’s distributed evenly and looks more natural. ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ #minireview#minireviews#beautyreview#honestreview#makeupreview#sephoracollection#banginbrows#browthickener#eyebrowpomade#browproducts#brows#beautyblogger#productreview#igtopshelfie #shelfie#discoverunder1k #wakeupandmakeup#hairmakeupdiary #makegirlz#hairmakeupdiary#makeupblogger #nidhireviews#minireviewswithnidhi#linerandbrows#browshaping#browqueen#browgame#browgoals#browtinting#browtransformation
