Back home after a few days in Puerto Rico with @thenorthface team. Being surrounded by some of the worlds best climbers, runners, skiers and snowboardsrs this past week stoked my fire, and has left me feeling more motivated than ever to reach higher and go further. Thank you @thenorthface for sharing such good energy with me, and for the opportunity to #neverstopexploring.

While most of my work revolves around climbing, @CanonUSA reached out with an idea that pushed me to branch out and try something different. I wanted to go to a popular place I’d never been, so I went to the Great Salt Lake. I aimed to capture the crazy environment we were in with the mountains, reflection and colors bouncing off the stillest salty water I’ve ever seen with @camabam. It was something new, something I’d never done before, in a place I’d never been. @CanonUSA pushed me to be creative in an area I’m not as well versed, but with launch of their new #EOSR system it made it almost seamless. Check the link in my bio for their aRchive series where myself and other content creators will be sharing our stories of how we brought our creative and revolutionary ideas to life. #EOSR #BeTheRevolution #ad // BTS 📷 by @jaydashphotography
Photo by @lucasgilman // I’ve been called an ‘adventure photographer’ a lot but the reality is I really only know one sport and it’s the one I do. I’m inspired by photographers like @lucasgilman who are well rounded. I think there’s something to be said for being good at one thing, but diversity can bring more value to your work. Cheers to constantly striving to be better and do more...we all should! Follow @lucasgilman for more amazing photos!
FRIENDS I NEED HELP!! My van was stolen in Salt Lake City, Utah last night. This has been my home on and off for the past 2.5 years, and yeah I’m pretty bummed right now. Please share, tag friends, and keep an eye out for it! Swipe to see license plate #. I appreciate all the help, THANK YOU!!!
@madebygoogle let me explore their Pixelbook with the company of a good friend, a camera, and the ability to edit my photos on a brilliant, new-to-me tool! My favorite part of the experience was sharing a glimpse of the wide world of climbing with the many faces that made this project possible. Link in bio for video! #paidpartnership @google
In 2012, before I was a climber, Fremont was one of the first mountains I tried to climb. The inexperienced me didn’t know that reading beta before questing out there was such a helpful (necessary) thing. I hiked in there with two friends with Fremont as our objective, without fully realizing how deep into the winds we were headed. Eventually we failed due to our own poor route finding skills. When we got out of the mountains I researched some more beta, looked at some maps, and went back in for another try a few weeks later with two other friends . Again, we turned back without reaching the summit, all of us unable to keep up with the altitude. It’s been on my mind ever since, and this year I decided to make a goal to do it in a day. Thankfully @bree.buckley agreed to embark on this sufferfest with me! Some 36 miles later, after about 16 hours, 10 cheezit and sour gummy worm breaks, and after debating whether or not to bail 6-7 times because it looked far away, we returned to the car after reaching the summit, and gained some significant blisters along the way...luckily our egos got the best of us 😉 and convinced us to keep pushing.
