Beating the sun up with this crew ✊🏼 Does it absolutely suck sometimes getting up for a 5:30am workout? Of course. But having your workout done before the work day starts is a damn good feeling! . Also, the BENEFITS OF A MORNING WORKOUT are real.. . It’s a natural energy booster. You’ll notice that when you replace your morning coffee with a workout you’ll start feeling longer lasting energy at the beginning of your day. Exercising releases endorphins which will not only give you that energy, but it will improve your mood. . Studies show that working out in the morning will boost your metabolism, which means you’ll burn more calories throughout the day. . An early morning sweat session can help you build muscle more efficiently. Research shows that your testosterone levels are at their highest as soon as you wake up. So its a great time to get in some strength training. . You’ll be more alert when you start your work or school day. "Working out is one of the most powerful things you can do to strengthen the brain," says Wendy Suzuki, Ph.D., a professor of neural science and psychology at New York University. "A single workout triggers physiological changes that improve mental function," she says. . And one of my favorite reasons is that you don’t really need to worry about anything else besides the workout. When I can I like to use it as “me” time. You don’t have to worry about emails, texts, phone calls, etc. because for most of us, the work day hasn’t begun yet. . Who else enjoys working out in the AM?
