Happy Thursday 😁😁 So i wanted to show my curl patterns a bit more close up. Some people have multiple patterns everyone is unique. The first picture you can see it's more of a coil whereas the 2nd picture is more of a spiral shape. I don't separate my curls at all I just fluff it out. But you can also see the difference in patterns all around.
V I E W S ✌️ • • Wash day was a success 🤩 🤩 today's wash n go style was very fast and easy. Diffusing did take a bit longer today than usual being that my hair was freshly washed and soaked. I definitely did get some great definition but not as much volume. I might have been a little heavy with product.
Aloe Vera has many good properties and benefits for your hair. Swipe right to see just how many ways you can use aloe vera for your hair needs 😁👍 • • I've only used aloe on my hair as a mask and I absolutely loved the way my hair felt afterwards. It left my hair managable, shiny and bouncy. I usually just buy a leaf at the supermarket gut it out and use it however I want.
Rice water has alot of benefits not only in health but in beauty as well. Rice water can be used as a skin toner, acne, indigestion, as well as promotes hair growth and it even helps with dandruff. So basically I took 1 cup of uncooked white rice & 2 cups of water. Stirred it around until the water became cloudy and let it sit. You can let it sit for 30 mins before using or leave out overnight. I'm really excited to see my results after using the rice water rinse. I've heard many good things about this 😁😁
Day 4 of my week with @orshaircare and Softee olid oil gel combo. I haven't changed anything in my routine except my products. I didn't completely soak my hair I mainly spritz and gave my scalp a quick massage then I lightly detangled my ends I used a pump of @ogx_beauty coconut styling milk then I used softee Olive oil gel mainly to my ends and back part of my hair. Lastly I used @orshaircare smooth and hold pudding to my roots and front part of my hair. Diffused and fluffed 😁😁
No refresh was needed for today ☺️☺️ I always put my hair in a pineapple and try to sleep on my satin pillow case. I did however add some @itsa10haircare miracle leave in product with no extra water in some areas and went about my day 👌😁 I did have obvious frizz all around but it doesn't bother me as much anymore because I've learned what exactly is frizz which just means some DC for the weekend 😌
DIY AVOCADO HAIR MASK 🥑🧖♀️ Avocados have many benefits one especially for your hair. It helps to rejuvenate and moisturize the scalp. Containing a rich amount of amino acids, and lots of vitamins, avocados help to soothe the scalp and promote long and healthy hair growth. I personally use half an avocado and 1 tbspn of coconut oil. The mask tends to be a bit heavy for my hair so I half the ingredients and add water to thin it out a bit. I also like to use a plastic hair cap to create a heat cap, leave in for about 30 mins and I wash my hair like normal. It may take 2 washes to fully wash out the oil and honey but it definitely leaves my hair feeling smooth and frizz free.
Wash your hair with warm water to remove product build upand dirt. But at the end, rinse with cool warm to add shine, seal in moisture and prevent frizz. Remember heat damage can also happen during your wash days as well. • • I like to wash my hair last so I keep it in a bun up until the end of my shower which is when I turn down to the hot water. At first you don't notice much of a difference but over time you'll start to see less frizz and more managability in your curls.
So many people ask what is the " curly girl method " it's actually very simple to start. Here are some quick and easy tips on how to get started going natural As far as the first line stating no shampoo it's really up to you. Some people have to shampoo more often then not but the best would be to use a co-wash or to moisturize before shampooing. I personally still use shampoo but only once every wash. Eliminating heat is the best thing you can do to start. Heat damage comes in many forms from actual flat iron use or even washing your hair with hot water. Always use a heat protector if you must. And lastly always , always , always moisturize your hair.
