Was volunteering today at a project and was swapping out cushions on a couple hundred chairs. It’s definitely a green Friday. @festool_usa and @metabohpt for adjusting some doors. That leads me to my next question. I wonder if @festool will be making some 21700 celled batteries? This is a great track saw but some more powerful batteries would give it the little boost of power it needs I think. ••• To find any specific tool review of mine past and present visit my profile and click on the hashtag in the description • • • • • • • • •

Forgot my dust pan but I had this awesome little @hiltinorthamerica vac with me. It’s on my van most of the time because it’s pretty handy. They designed it very well because of its size and on board storage. It is very small and the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. • I am just sucking up sawdust here but it’s still one little powerful vac. It will pick up gravel small screws and such. This vac has awesome power to size ratio and is definitely one of the most powerful cordless vacs out there. • Best part about the vac is it’s table 1 compliant. It has a manual self clean button on the top. A replaceable Hepa filter is also included. It also has bags as well although they are a a little expensive for new ones. • It has onboard crevice tool and a brush. The hose is a length that makes the vac usable when sitting on the floor or other surface that it can reach lots of areas. • This vac is very powerful for its size and it being cordless but it’s still no replacement for a bigger shop vac. I use it for small Job and final clean ups for drywall dust, saw dust ect. I also have hooked it to a couple smaller cordless tools for dust extraction and it does good. Just don’t go hooking it up to a table saw. ••• To find any specific tool review of mine past and present visit my profile and click on the hashtag in the description • • • • • • • • •

@milwaukeetool sent me these heated gloves a few months ago but this crazy Cincinnati weather has been pretty warm until now. So I got a chance to use these today. They are nice leather gloves that come up the wrist a good amount. They are a little bulky like any other snow glove so if you are working with fasteners or need to pick up small stuff they will be a no go. Using them with bigger tools like shovels I had no problem. Heat is pretty good. Actually really good medium and low is plenty when working. If you are sitting sill the high would be good. Here’s the thing about these gloves though they are pricy, 179 bucks. For that price I don’t know I would want to use them for the work I can do in them. They are well made gloves but even the best gloves in the world will wear out quickly when using them at work. So if you want to pay for them I think they would be great for more recreational stuf, watching football games, snowboarding, hunting ect. ••• To find any specific tool review of mine past and present visit my profile and click on the hashtag in the description • • • • • • • • •

Been using clamp nails for years for putting miters together. I cut a small kerf down the center of the miter on a router table then glue them and drive the clamp nail down the center. The clamp nail is tapered out at the end so it draws the joint tight as it’s hammered in. Also this makes for a permanent connection down the entire length of the miter. The kerf also lines the profiles up at the same plane. A big advantage of using this is that after you put the casing together it’s ready immediately. No letting it set there in some clamps letting the glue set up. ••• To find any specific tool review of mine past and present visit my profile and click on the hashtag in the description • • • • • • • • • ❤️tools
